Reposted from the Caring Bridge site for Bayo Oyebade. I have seen a rapid recovery in Bayo since he has been home for 24 hours now. I had been a little concerned that I was bringing him home too early, but now I have no doubt that it was the right time to come home. Tonight he asked me when he can start going out! He's a man of the people.

Earlier this year I had the privilege of doing some teaching for a graduate teacher training program. It is a new program that has been launched by a consult of one of the schools I work with called Meadow Hall School in Lagos, Nigeria. I was able to work with the teachers for one week. The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. Once the winds stopped, the sun came out and revealed a winter wonderland out my backdoor. I had to venture out and experience the snow packed trails. Gorgeous! After a short walk, I decided it was too nice to enjoy by myself. So, I made a quick call to my sister and Andrew was on his way over. 160;with sled in hand. We found the perfect sledding hill! What a great time we had! And what is better than sledding? 160;Sitting in the snow taking it all in.

The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. Last weekend we went camping / fishing with some friends. I love getting away for the weekend because it usually means sleeping in. The only items on our agenda were fishing, soaking in the sun, fishing, grilling, fishing and more fishing. Did I mention fishing?
