June 18, 2010: Lake Yale Conference Center: Leesburg, Forida. Camp- week one. Finished. Done. Sigh. How great the love the Father has shown us that He would call us His own! June 22, 2010: Eckerd College: St. Petersburg, Florida. 1 John 3:13: Don't be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you. This week started out like this :.

sail thou forth to seek and find: August 2010
http://mcbreedlove.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sail thou forth to seek and find. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Concerning the certificate of debt. I can't seem to get back into a normal sleep pattern. It's a work in progress, but I would love to fall asleep right now. Since I am unable to, I will reflect on the fact that my first day of sophomore year of college is in the books. I'm sorry, what? I still feel like a 7th grader. The only thing I really have to share is actually a verse that I read today that really grabbed me by the lapel. Saturday, Augu...

Just South of Canaan: April 2011
http://kirbylewis.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Monday, April 11, 2011. All things come in cycles. Especially the seasons. First, you have winter. It's cold and dreary. You're probably sick at some point even though you got the flu shot and have been eating vitamin C like candy. Every once and again, you get a good snow day, which a lot of people love - but I hate ( hate the snow, love the snow day. Finally, we have fall, or, as some of you more erudite reader...

Just South of Canaan: On Staying in a Hostel
http://kirbylewis.blogspot.com/2012/06/on-staying-in-hostel.html
Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Saturday, June 23, 2012. On Staying in a Hostel. That being said, last weekend, I had to stay in a hostel. I say had to, but that isn’t entirely true. I had other options, but I came on this trip to be independent, so despite the fact that I was somewhat of a nervous wreck about it, I took the plunge and booked a hostel. Cleanliness is not next to godliness. When traveling, it’s best not to be too picky. While I ...

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. I've been gone for quite some time. Nope, not on some new adventure. I just haven't been posting despite the fact that over the last semester there has been absolutely plenty to tell. Tomorrow, I'll be hopping on plane to head to Costa Rica for the month of January. Just South of Canaan: Things Will Always Work Out

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Saturday, June 9, 2012. Things Will Always Work Out. I’ve been saying for a long time that traveling has forced me to be able to deal with hardship in a much better manner. My first day in Germany was a test of that statement. Let me reiterate my goal for this trip. My goal is to not have a goal. I wanted a trip that was open and free, and according to the first day, that’s exactly what I got.

Just South of Canaan: July 2012
http://kirbylewis.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Friday, July 20, 2012. I once went on a hiking trip in a town about an hour outside of Munich called Garmisch. It was absolutely beautiful, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. So beautiful. On a side note, I have now traveled back to the Land of the Free, but the reflections from my time in Germany are still coming. The adventure really never ends. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. In the spirit of the Crossfit Games.

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Jordan is finally here. I can't believe how quickly this semester went by and what a whirlwind it was. I feel like so much happened, and yet I can't put my finger on any one point or one lesson. Still unpacking it all. In other news, I am currently sitting in Washington, D.C. awaiting my plane to Vienna. First, I'm doing this because of the cultural awareness that I lack. I've been expo...

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Korean Adventures and Pork Dumplings. Last Wednesday, I left Union and headed toward Nashville. That night, I went to bed eager to wake up a short two hours later and board a plane for Dallas, Texas. In Dallas, I would meet up with several other college students who were participating in the CIEE South Korea Scholarship Program. Oh my gosh, do you know so-and-so. No? Ok What's your major?
