International Motherhood: May 2008
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. Shortly after my post the rain began to fall heavier . . . And Heavier. . . . But, we are now back at home, snug and sound. Thank god we don't have carpet or hardwood floors. I have to admit that it was a fun change change! Thursday, May 29, 2008. 2008 Hurricane Season Kicks Off. That is Costa Rica, the little green country smack dab in the middle. Laundry doesn't dry - ever. No one leaves the house - not even taxi drivers. Rain starts leaking through the roof. Sunday, May 25, 2008.

International Motherhood: Catching Up
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2009/01/catching-up.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Several months have gone by and it feels like a year. I won't bother going into details but here are some highlights:. Ben took a job in Iraq with the International Medical Corps in Baghdad. It is a year contract and he gets a week off every two months so see us which is more than before! Please, don't jump - that is dangerous. You have to go slowly.". I think blogging is like exercising - you have to do it regularly or you won't do it at all. And no, I never exercise. We really...

International Motherhood: March 2009
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2009. For those of you who have tender eyes, you might not want to keep reading (profanity). . . For the last year I have been calling my cab driver (I have the same one every day - we are on a contract) and saying to him in Spanish:. Porfavor, toque su pito cuando viene! FINALLY someone corrected me and explained to me what I have been saying to him over the last year:. Could you come and fuck me again? Please, when you get here, touch your dick.". International Motherhood: February 2010
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Wow It has almost been a year since my last post. I said that it is like exercise and I was right. So, Claire and I are talking about all the animals and bugs and reptiles we have here at our house - inside and out - mostly in - and here is the list:. Zorros (sort of like a possum). And once I opened my front gate to leave and there was a baby cow standing there staring at me. Now THAT was a surprise. So far, none have them, other than spiders, have ended up in the bed. Yet.

International Motherhood: July 2008
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2008. The Hermit Had Visitors. I have been feeling a bit like a hermit lately. I told Katie (my sister in law) how I just seem to be slipping into not wanting to talk to anyone. I don't know exactly why, but it is happening. Or happened. (Sorry to everyone who I haven't spoken to in ages. I am lame.). Although, the chickens aren't laying eggs. . . that is another story. Here are some pics of our last four days. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Henry's new friend. Too bad he isn't real! Then, ...

International Motherhood: September 2008
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 29, 2008. So, we got her all dressed up for the parade and Henry and I followed her on the float for two hours. Two hours in the hot sun and all we did was walk around the church. It was slow and a little painful but I did have a chance to talk to some other parents and I made a new friend - and Claire loved it! So, I guess it was all worth it! And, she looked so freakin' cute. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Voting From Abroad - And Daddy Leaving. But, before he left, I printed out my abse...

International Motherhood: August 2008
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. I have Fox News! Well, I just discovered that they cable company kindly added Fox News to my fine selection of channels. I have to say that I am thrilled. I never, ever thought I would say that about Fox but I now have a news channel in ENGLISH that I can really follow! CNN en Espanol is nice but it is too hard to follow, especially with kids running around. So, while I missed Barack and Michelle's speeches, I can now follow what is happening in the world! International Motherhood: October 2008
http://internationalmotherhood.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Well, poor guy. We cut off his hair - the hair he rubbed and pulled every time he went to bed. But, he seems to be adjusting to the fact that his new military cut is here to stay. I would have cut it differently but the cut was free (courtesy of Mercedes Zamora) and all she had was the buzzer dealy so here are the pics! He was amazing. No tears. He just kept saying "Ah done" "Ah Done! Not sure why I don't have a final pic of how cute he is - with his "no hair" cut. They decide ...
