Wednesday, June 24, 2009. My Family Practitioner stuck with me, and even though he treated me for anxiety disorder, he knew there was more there. It wasn't until February of 2008, when I went to see an allergist, that I had ever even heard of Mastocytosis. Through her persistence and after driving across the country to have a bone marrow biopsy and consultation with a Mastocytosis specialist, I finally had a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
