Bode, Taryn and Chesney. Monday, September 23, 2013. I definitely took the summer off from the blog.We had a good summer and it was nice to spend time with family. She had her first trip to 7 peaks, the zoo, and we even went river rafting in Wyoming. I honestly can't believe it is fall with only one week left in September. Time is flying by! We are just back to our normal routine. Chesney is still such a cutie and keeps us on our toes:-). She is growing like crazy! She still loves to count and is up to 13.

Mozzarella Grilled Pepper Salad. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1/4 cup olive oil. 3 bell peppers (mixed colors). 1/2 pt grape tomatoes, quartered lengthwise. 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced. 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar. 1/2 large baguette, slived crosswise into 3/4" slices. 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed. 1/3 cup torn basil leaves. 4 Stir remaining garlic oil into the salad. It was very tiny, but in a beautiful location in Southern California. The biggest reason we actually chose to live there was because it was roughly $1,000 cheaper.
