Matt McMurry.: Simple Weblogic Setup

http://mattmcmurry.blogspot.com/2009/02/simple-weblogic-setup.html

Knowledge is power. Here have some, its free! Friday, February 6, 2009. Weblogic is a powerful Oracle delivered application server. Maybe you want to learn about it, or start implementing it. These instructions may or may not fit your needs and is for a simple setup, you may want to consider revising your production install of weblogic, but I promise this setup is easy! The procedure works for both Weblogic 10 and 9.2 (maybe others). I am going to give instructions from 10 (on linux). In the BEA Home Dir...

Matt McMurry.: What port are my apps using?

http://mattmcmurry.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-port-are-my-apps-using.html

Knowledge is power. Here have some, its free! Monday, February 9, 2009. What port are my apps using? Their are two commands to look at. Fuser will help in looking for port conflicts. Something like fuser -n tcp 80 would tell you what app is already using port 80. Netstat will list it all our for you. Netstat -nlp will give you programs, ports, and PIDS. Both of these can be very useful. The main reason I have it posted on my blog is so I can stop forgetting these commands! Matt and Jaime's Blog!

Matt McMurry.: Upsidedown Is Better, Savor the Flavor!

http://mattmcmurry.blogspot.com/2008/09/upsidedown-is-better-savor-flavor.html

Knowledge is power. Here have some, its free! Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Upsidedown Is Better, Savor the Flavor! I really like to eat food and drink tasty drinks, as I am sure the most of us do. Sometimes I eat a little weird, but to be honest with you, if looking more weird means better tasting food, it is worth it. And now to explain myself. When you put buttered toast in your mouth, which side of the toast hits your tongue. First, the dry or buttered? When you eat pizza do you think mmm. And cheeks s...

Matt McMurry.: Why Life is Great

http://mattmcmurry.blogspot.com/2008/11/let-good-times-roll.html

Knowledge is power. Here have some, its free! Thursday, November 13, 2008. Why Life is Great. I find that life is generally boring, interrupted by moments of exciting events. I have also found that changing your perception of what is exciting can make life fun all the time. Enjoying life means being happy and it is up to each of us to cause this happiness in our lives. We have been dating for a bit and it has been great! Jaime is a happy person who shows great spirit, leadership, care, and much more and ...

The McMurry Family: Life without a Tailbone

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/06/life-without-tailbone.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Sunday, June 08, 2014. Life without a Tailbone. This isn't the best picture, but it was easy to find on the Internet. :). Due to trauma to my coccyx over the past year, an orthopedic surgeon suggested that I have my tailbone removed. The procedure is called a coccygectomy. On Thursday, June 5, I had my coccyx removed. The McMurry Family: 260 Days without a Tailbone

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2015/02/260-days-without-tailbone.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Friday, February 20, 2015. 260 Days without a Tailbone. I figured that I had something good to report. I still have pain from sitting in hard chairs or from sitting for a long time, but I can ride my bike! Out of the last 19 work days, I've ridden to work 15.5 of those days! It's great to be back in the saddle again. Cycling makes me happy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jay and Robin Irvine. Watch out for mama. The Misadventures of Brad and Kim: Down Unda!

The McMurry Family: 164 Days tailboneless

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/11/164-days-tailboneless.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Sunday, November 16, 2014. I was hoping I wouldn't post another update. Keep in mind, I'm doing this to help others who may go through a coccygectomy. I couldn't find a lot or information on the subject. The healing process slowed down dramatically. It's hard to see improvement week to week or even month to month. Having said that, my standing desk arrived last week. Initial use is proving to be very beneficial. I go home with less pain that I used to. Watch out for mama.

The McMurry Family: Two weeks without a Tailbone

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/06/two-weeks-without-tailbone.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Thursday, June 19, 2014. Two weeks without a Tailbone. Yesterday, someone asked me if it was worth it. I don't know yet. Ask me again in September. If I can ride my bike pain free, then it was definitely worth it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jay and Robin Irvine. Watch out for mama. The Misadventures of Brad and Kim: Down Unda! The McMurry Family: A Reaction to UVU's Student Newspaper 2/7/2014

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/02/a-reaction-to-uvus-student-newspaper.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Friday, February 07, 2014. A Reaction to UVU's Student Newspaper 2/7/2014. Today the student newspaper ran four (4) stories. If they had only published one of these stories, I might not have reacted to it. But they published all four at the same time. I see a pattern. It is a pattern I don't like. 1 "UVU students conduct research on depression among LDS men." The results suggest that "Mormon theology and culture can cause distress.". This is an opinion article. Peopl...

The McMurry Family: The Barking Dog and the LoveSac

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-barking-dog-and-lovesac.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Thursday, July 31, 2014. The Barking Dog and the LoveSac. I thought that this would be an interesting story to share with anyone who reads this blog. 8220;I’m sorry, I don’t go to your church! 8221; she yelled. She had one leg between the doorjamb and the door and one hand clearly holding the door shut. She occasionally tilted her head back toward the inside of the house. There was lots of noise coming from inside. She seemed tired and worn out. &#822...8221; I had hoped...

The McMurry Family: 10 Weeks without a tailbone

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/08/10-weeks-without-tailbone.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. 10 Weeks without a tailbone. Well, I think that an update is way past due, but life is busy! I can officially say that the pain I originally felt with my dislocated tailbone is gone. I don't feel pain in the incision site very often either. Overall, I'm happy with my recovery. I'm a little less optimistic that I can get on my bike on September 5th, but at least I will be able to ride a bike again! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The McMurry Family: 90 Days without a tailbone

http://mcmurrys.blogspot.com/2014/09/90-days-without-tailbone.html

The Adventures of Alison and Ben. Friday, September 05, 2014. 90 Days without a tailbone. This may be the last post for a while about my recent coccygectomy. I might give a 6 month and a 1 year report, but I may not. A few weeks ago I was moving boxes from my old office to my new one (UVU - BYU). After lifting two boxes, I felt some muscle pain in my lower back. I stopped lifting the boxes, but have been feeling sore on and off ever since. So, I went on a nice 10 minute bike ride around the neighborhood&...
