The roadtrip to LA | Matt Moeller

http://www.mattmoeller.com/the-roadtrip-to-la

March 26, 2015. The roadtrip to LA. I’m almost loathe to call it a roadtrip to LA, because it was more than that. Living in Orlando is practically living on the other side of the continent, so in a very real sense, I drove across the continent of North America. Here, see? The next morning I’m off and out early, catching my sister Mary for a hug on a stroke of good luck and onto the constant drone of the highway. I was able to take part in the Thursday night open jam, helping to fulfill one of my life goa...

October, 2014 | Matt Moeller

http://www.mattmoeller.com/2014/10

October 20, 2014. It’s monday again and I’m well into a good routine. Things are pretty good as of late, as a matter of fact. I’m probably doing the best I’ve been doing in a long time. And it kinda scares me. Exactly how good my life is right now. It’s sorta this jenga style balance that feels almost on the edge of a knife. Things can still improve and get better, but I’m constantly in mind of how fragile everything is. He could have very easily died. 1 less seat belt? A couple of inches?

Improv Pictures #1 | Matt Moeller

http://www.mattmoeller.com/improv-pictures-1

May 13, 2015. After being inspired by the wonderful improv ‘words’ and the pictures series that Bob Kodzis does, I’ve started jotting down particularly striking quotes from my classes. Here are a few from my first two months in LA. Comfort and Safety are the Enemy of Good Improv – Ari Voukydis. Ari give some of the best improv quotes I’v heard in a while, but has the most damn impossible name for me to spell. (If you’re reading this Ari. Sorry man! I’m a dunce! June, 2015 | Matt Moeller

http://www.mattmoeller.com/2015/06

June 27, 2015. Too Much of a Good Thing. For the past two months I have been taking three improv classes at a time and watching as many shows as I could. Gorging myself on the work and filling up every spare waking moment with it. Which might also involve not writing as much. So I’ll see you when I see you. June 9, 2015. Script in a Week #1. June 2, 2015. I’m starting to realize that I’m finally treading the path of the improv master, walking up the steep climb on a mountain to which I can&#8...As a refl...

Cycling, Life, and Bacon

Cycling, Life, and Bacon. Because sometimes thoughts are too good to not be shared. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Kansas 70.3 . the yellow brick road of pain. To hold the bike to make room for our cooler and all of our gear.
