3D Modelling and Animation. Welcome to my blog of 3D Modelling! Thursday, 29 October 2009. Intro to Lighting in 3D S Max. In this tutorial we was introduced to different lighting techniques that we can use in 3D s max. We were given a pumpkin and we had to implement two lighting techniques. One light coming from above the pumpkin and one that represents. A candle inside it. To create this scene I used an omni. Setting a spooky scene for the pumpkin. 3rd Stamp Idea: Sumatran Orangutan. 3D Modelling and animation: The Butterfly - Part 2
http://rachelbull3d.blogspot.com/2009/12/butterfly-part-2.html
3D Modelling and animation. Thursday, 10 December 2009. The Butterfly - Part 2. Once the butterfly was finished I looked back at it and realised that I forgot to add the butterfly's antenna. I completed the butterfly by making one antenna out of a cylinder by using the 'edit poly' modifier and I used the 'symmetry' modifier to mirror the image onto the other side of the butterfly. This is the rendered image of the leaf that i created for the butterfly's habitat. I also created toehr leaves to make it...

3D Modelling and animation: The Fish - Part 2
http://rachelbull3d.blogspot.com/2009/12/fish-part-2.html
3D Modelling and animation. Saturday, 5 December 2009. The Fish - Part 2. After I had created the basic shape of the fish I was able to focus on some of the main features such as the eyes and fins. These were quite difficult for me to do because i had to use techniques that I didn't understand. I added the eyes by using the same tools and techniques;however, i used soft selection to make sure the eye looked natural. The eye balls and simple spheres which i created. 6 December 2009 at 06:25.

3D Modelling and animation: The Panda/Zebra - Part 3
http://rachelbull3d.blogspot.com/2009/12/pandazebra-part-3.html
3D Modelling and animation. Thursday, 10 December 2009. The Panda/Zebra - Part 3. I wanted to make it seem as though there was a large version of a zebra or just the zebra skin behind the panda. For this I had to create a backdrop which was a plane with the same texture as the panda's face. I used the material editor and made the plane shown below. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
