Falling down the stairs because you were wearing your fuzzy feet. Those same fuzzy feet. That I warn everyone I gift them too, about how slippery they can be. I will have you know that as of right now I am the only one who has managed to fall in them. Proud – that’s me. September 17, 2008 at 10:33 PM. Studip is what studip does. *grin*. Thursday, October 30, 2008. Creme Brulee Cheesecake - yes, it's as good as it sounds. First, an apology. I don't have very many photos and the ones I do have are pretty crappy. The picture above is one someone else took of the entire table as we were still getting everything ready and I just cropped it - don't you just love that big box of crackers right behind the cake? And it really was much prettier when you looked at it closer - the caramelized sugar was nice and twinkly. 3 Tablespoons melted butter.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008. One of the reasons I absolutely. LOVE summertime (besides the warm weather and sunny days - I am a southern girl at heart, afterall) is being able to get fresh, deliciously sweet berries at the store. Check out these beauties. Had quite the sale on blueberries last week (2 pounds for $4.99 - yes. So I stocked up. Actually, I wish I had bought some more to freeze - but instead we all ate a lot of blueberries! Blueberry Crumb Bars -. 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup packed lt.

Such is Life in a Putty Knife Factory. One big city woman, one floofy white dog and one move to the middle of nowhere. Friday, October 3, 2008. The difference between a job and a career is the difference between forty and sixty hours a week. Robert Frost. So I have a job. Yes that’s right – a job, not a career. You know, I’m sort of excited about it. I've been working as “the boss”. For so long the idea of not being one is kind of nice. I am going to do a job that I will only commit 40 hours a week to.

Bark incessantly until your citronella collar is empty then bark whenever the feeling strikes you. Perpetrate a prison break from your cell (kennel). she's cookin' now!: Light Italian Wedding Soup
http://shescookinnow.blogspot.com/2009/01/light-italian-wedding-soup.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. Light Italian Wedding Soup. It has been cold here in the midwest. I mean really, really friggin. Cold I don't like it one bit, but I'm coping. One of the ways I try to cope is by eating and drinking lots of hot liquids - lots of tea. Chard, broccoli rabe. And others - most of which were a hit. They really liked this soup a lot, but if your kids might balk at the escarole, you could easily substitute spinach. Light Italian Wedding Soup. I used a 1.25 lb tray of Jenny-O. In a bowl...

Tuesday, January 20, 2009. TWD: Berry Surprise Cake, or "Naomi's Revenge". I would not go so far as to call myself a "diva scholar," but I do feel that I have an above-average understanding of divas and diva behavior thanks to my inexplicable and long-held interest in celebrities. So when Dorie issued the following ominous warning in her recipe for Berry Surprise Cake:. The beautifully beaten eggs are fragile and must be treated like the divas they are,". Eggs J. The Dogs Eat the Crumbs: {TWD} Real Butterscotch Pudding
http://noe847.blogspot.com/2008/12/twd-real-butterscotch-pudding.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. TWD} Real Butterscotch Pudding. Hello, both a.l.e. Here, taking over the Tuesdays With Dorie post because our mom was busy grappling with our Christmas tree. When our mom approached us individually about cooking one of the Tuesdays With Dorie recipes together, we both separately picked this one. Fate! I [jde.] am a notorious fan of butter, and my sister is a notorious fan of scotch, so this post is, one could say, the perfect mix. Keeping a watchful eye on the simmering scotch.
