Monday, May 28, 2012. A Memorable Memorial Day. As we were walking as a family on Sunday night, we retold each of the children's birth stories and talked about how exciting it is that we didn't know the birth story of our new baby yet, but that we would soon and we'd be retelling it over and over after that. Friday, August 31, 2012. At the River with Friends. We have gone to the river many times this summer, sometimes 3 or 4 times a week. We wanted to get one last time in and when school was let out early because of the heat, we figured that was a good excuse to go get cooled off with our friends, the Morgans. The girls loved playing on top of the waterfall, collecting mud balls. Jerikka and Clarissa are like two peas on a pod, they are only like two weeks apart in age and have almost identical personalities.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. The Many Faces of Halloween. Clarissa is a colorful witch. Instead of a family theme this year, we focused on faces. Jared designed and painted everyone's eyes. Clarissa has spider webs. Krystal, the jazz dancer. She wanted something flowery. Amber is a peacock. We all had fun painting her peacock tail. Seth is a monkey and I am his tree. Jared has known since last year that he wanted to be a ninja and he designed and made his whole costume. Complete with weapons and everything.

Teresa's beautiful orchids from her dad. The Orchids are in this cute mug. These roses sit in a very pretty vase. My hubby loves me so much :). If you look close, you can see the stamp on the inside of the box says Cambria. It's fudge from a little shop in Cambria. A little basket of goodies for Jonathan.

Tuesday, August 12, 2014. We went to Gem Mountain by Anaconda to search through buckets of dirt looking for sapphires. It was pretty cool and a lot of fun. We found a lot of little gems.
