Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Monday, March 16, 2015. The day before debracing. well, sort of. Tomorrow is supposed to be THE Debracing Day! I missed out just one little detail though. that I was supposed to see Surgeonman before I get it all removed! As it turns out, I unknowingly missed my last appointment with Surgeonman and now I have to schedule a meeting before I claim my freedom from all this metal! Bad news is that Surgeonman is out of town till Weds. There's st...

Becoming Ariela: August 2014
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Saturday, August 30, 2014. Day 72: Just walking through life. Been in a very much reflective mood recently. The stress of work and life has been getting to me, and it's not very healthy. Part of me feels like I've lost myself somewhere these past five years - with entering the business, losing one of my best friends, the big break up, depression, surgeries, issues with work. it's just been a bit too much for me I think. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Pain Level: 1 -.

Becoming Ariela: just another food post :)

Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Just another food post :). I haven't been posting my food logs for a while, so I figured I might as well do a food post. :) Here's stuff I've been eating.which has become a lot more adventurous since the first week of installing my braces. Here's a delicious breakfast recipe I made. Yogurt, sliced bananas, and chopped walnuts. The walnuts weren't very friendly on the braces, but the health benefits was worth it. Something green in my system.

Becoming Ariela: January 2015
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Sunday, January 25, 2015. Setting the pace for 2015. Gosh, time really flies! 1 My chin hurts when I rub it. I think things are still not quite fused up. I like to believe I'm still swollen. Okay, I've been trying to "get a life" nowadays so I do stay out late and sleep late.but now it's more for social reasons than due to discomfort from the surgery. Lazy Sunday. It's a nice feeling to be able to laze a day away. I'm back to fencing! It was just two weeks ago that ...

Becoming Ariela: August 2015
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Sunday, August 23, 2015. Back and moving into new phases. So I'm finally back. Why am I sharing these things again? Oh right, the lack of feelings. But then again, it's not that big a deal compared to why I needed to do it. I can't imagine having to deal with pain and other more annoying things. So I shall choose to be thankful. But still pray that the feelings come back some time - hopefully before I get married. That will be useful. Please, God? In Pursuit of a Pe...

Becoming Ariela: May 2015
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Monday, May 18, 2015. It's been a while since I've written.guess life happened. But I'm back to writing. I do have another mailbox with another 3000 mails to deal with, but I'm on a mission and will get there one step at a time. I've joined the minimalism movement and have found it increasingly liberating. I have a plan and that plan is to live. To live a happy, fulfilling, and gracious life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Day 21: The dark side of jaw surgery. Welcome ...

Becoming Ariela: more bracing myself for a new adventure
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2013/06/more-bracing-myself-for-new-adventure.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Friday, June 21, 2013. More bracing myself for a new adventure. Interestingly though, I'm pretty sure that my teeth have been very obedient. as so:. It's amazing how putting some brackets and wire into one's mouth (along with the skill and loving hands of the good Orthoman) can really make a difference to the alignment of one's teeth! I'm amazed at how much my teeth have moved in a matter of months. And those annoying deviant incisors! When I get back? Yes, anxious ...

Becoming Ariela: February 2015
http://becomingariela.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Cherishing the woman I was made to be. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Debracing is scheduled for 17th MARCH! Bad news is that my alignment is off! Look at my midline (marked in red)! Come on jaw, work with me! The blue lines are the bands I'm currently wearing to try to fix it. So it's back to Cranberry bands for me.I think they're supposed to tease my jaws into place. Other than that, I think Orthoman has put on some locking bands along my top and bottom teeth to keep the rest of my teeth in place. Which h...
