http://mcdanielhappenings.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. Where does the time go? Honestly, it's been since September since I've written on here, and I have no excuse. I have been busy.school and family. I've been trying to cut down on my time spent at school once the kids are gone, and I've done pretty good. Thanks to my dad, I have a motivation. I meet him at the gym around 4 which motivates me to get out of school! It's a win-win situation. (Now, if I can just keep it up! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Other Blogs We Read.

Our Beautiful Ride : The Zoo!
http://bradandrachelz.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-zoo.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. A couple weeks ago Parker and I met Jen and Luke and Sarah and Brody at the KC Zoo. We weren't really thinking about it being Spring Break, but as soon as we pulled in to the parking lot we remembered it was the first day of break for many of the schools around the city (except Drew and Jack's district! Once we got in the zoo it wasn't too bad since the zoo is pretty spread out. The weather was perfect and we had a fun day hanging with our boys and watching the animals. My Grocer...

McDaniel Happenings: May 2011

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. A Job Well Done. I learned a few things on our trip to Jamaica. 1 It's absolutely beautiful. It was picture perfect, the weather was perfect, and the resort was perfect. 3 A job is worth doing well. Yes, I've known this last one, and I preach it to my students. Nothing was more clear to me than when I stopped to watch the employees on the resort. All were clean-cut and well dressed. All worked hard and were friendly. All seemed to appreciate and enjoy their job. Below are the boys ...

Holding Family Blog: Merry Christmas 2014
http://paulandmeganholding.blogspot.com/2014/12/merry-christmas-2014.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Our Christmas season was super busy this year, but our Christmas Eve and Day were spent at home this year. It was a wonderful, simple day! The girls each got new big fluffy bathrobes with their Christmas Eve pajamas and I I don't think Emma has taken hers off yet! Christmas morning, the girls "slept in" until 6:45! They were so excited to come down and see if Santa had come - and, of course, he did! This is a face of sheer joy! Later in the morning, my parents came over and ...

Holding Family Blog: September 2014
http://paulandmeganholding.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2014. Once Upon a Time in September . . . Once upon a time there was a little blog. A very little blog. The writing was simple, full of pop culture references, and frequent over/misuse of punctuation. And then time came when weeks, and then months would go by with no updates. The blog was all but forgotten . . . isolated . . . adrift . . . all alone in the vast universe of The Internet. Dear the 6 people who read this blog -. This is the story of this. But I'm here with a small ra...

Holding Family Blog: Thanks a lot, Influenza
http://paulandmeganholding.blogspot.com/2015/01/thanks-lot-influenza.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. Thanks a lot, Influenza. 2015 is here and my resolution is clearly NOT to get back to regular posting. My free time most days is somewhere between 13 and 22 minutes. Paul is working crazy hours and I'm doing my best to be mom, teacher, mentor, wife, housekeeper, chef, chauffeur, maid, runner, homework tutor, therapist, counselor, etc. Overflowing plate of responsibility and commitment leaves me too exhausted most days to be a writer. It mostly just leaves me exhausted. But I dig...
