Saturday, March 5, 2011. We have officially completed the ISAT testing! Students in 3C did an outstanding job creating a nice testing environment for all! We earned two marbles this week as well! The following are some updates for this week:. Spelling: Week 21 (www.spellingcity.com is a great resource to use for studying! Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Our Year Is Off To A Great Start! Our first two days have zoomed by! We have gotten to learn a lot about each other and third grade already. Today we had our first spelling pretest and our spelling lists went home. Please read the spelling letter and if you have any questions, let me know. Friday, September 17, 2010. Quotes about OUR week. In 3G Math we have finished Unit 1 and took a test today. In 3B Math we are almost finished with Unit One. We are planning to review on Monday and take the Unit 1 test on Tuesday. We wrapped up the Social Studies unit about Communities. We can tell you about the three different types: urban, suburban and rural. Next week we will begin studying Habitats and food chains. Was a literature focus in class. We each got to explore our own piece of chocolate.

Monday, February 28, 2011. The 3rd grade ISAT. Session schedule for this week:. Testing will take place in the mornings only 9:15-11:35. Tuesday, March 1st Reading and Math. Wednesday, March 2 nd. Thursday, March 3rd Reading and Math. Make-up testing will begin March 2 nd. And go through the 13 th. Our Specials Schedule will not change however our lunch time will be 12:35-1:10. Saturday, November 6, 2010. Thank you to all of the parents that have met with me to exchange information about our students on Nov. 2nd and Nov. 4th. I'm looking forward to meeting with many more parents on Nov. 10th. :). We are continuing to read a plethora of texts to support growth in our reading fluency and comprehension.
