The goings and comings of some very ordinary people. Friday, February 14, 2014. My friend Ann is an amazing photographer. Her gift to new mama's is a newborn photo shoot and I couldn't think of a better gift. I've never had newborn pictures taken before, but I'm so grateful I did this time. These are TREASURE! She just came to my home, took picture in my living room, and the results are real life and real beautiful. I love the lighting, the natural feel, and I love how tiny that 9 pound baby looks.

Thursday, December 30, 2010. We drove around Austin, took a tour of the Capitol, ate at a restaurant on Lake Austin and at as many places featured on Man vs. Food and some antique mall shopping. Sunday, August 24, 2014. I'm not going to catch up right now, so here are a few random thoughts instead. 1 Humidity is so weird to me. Yesterday it was 80 degrees, but the RealFeel was 97 degrees, thanks to our good friend humidity. Why doesn't it do that in the winter? Why can't it be 30 degrees with a RealFeel of 47?
