Meal Planning with Connie: Creamy Cheese and Bacon Vermicelli
http://mealplanningwithconnie.blogspot.com/2012/01/creamy-cheese-and-bacon-vermicelli.html
Meal Planning with Connie. From a Southern Cook. Creamy Cheese and Bacon Vermicelli. Creamy Cheese and Bacon Vermicelli. Creamy Cheese and Bacon Vermicelli. I found this on the back of the pasta box. It was super easy and yummy! It could be lighten by using low-fat or no-fat cream cheese and milk, sautéing onions in water or broth, and reducing the amount of bacon. 1/4 cup sliced green onion. 1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter. 4 ounces cream cheese , cubed. 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley.
Meal Planning with Connie: Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball

I took this cheese ball to a church finger food fellowship last Sunday night. We all thought it was really good! 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened. 1 (1 ounce) package buttermilk Ranch dressing mix. 189; cup “real” bacon bits. 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. 4 green onions, chopped. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Meal Planning with Connie: Lemon Cheesecake Squares
http://mealplanningwithconnie.blogspot.com/2012/01/lemon-cheesecake-squares.html
Meal Planning with Connie. From a Southern Cook. These are basically a little different take on chess squares. Easy and yummy! 1 box lemon cake mix. 1 stick butter, softened. 16-ounce box powdered sugar. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter to form a dough. Set aside 1 cup of dough mixture. Pat remaining dough into prepared pan. Sprinkle reserved dough over cream cheese mixture. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Meal Planning with Connie: Taco Casserole
http://mealplanningwithconnie.blogspot.com/2011/04/taco-casserole.html
Meal Planning with Connie. From a Southern Cook. This is another of my at-least-it's-better-than-going-through-the-drive-thru recipes. For a more healthful dish, choose reduced-fat soup, 2% cheese and fat free sour cream! This colorful dish is yummy garnished with a dollop of sour cream! For a larger group, double this recipe and bake in a 9x13. 2 cups cooked, chopped chicken (from your freezer, rotisserie or canned). 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1 can Southwestern Style Mexicorn. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Bringing Up Girls by James Dobson. Just finished this book and let me tell you, it was helpful! Here are some of my favorites things that I read. Michelle Malkin's advice for parents, "Be "prudes." Be "rude." Be "shrill." And never, ever feel ashamed for asking out loud, "Have you no shame? Chapter Title: Teaching Girls to be Ladies. Thursday, June 30, 2011. While Luke's In Africa. I have had little down time to sit and sulk over Luke's absence. But that's not really the reason I have done OK. The reason I have done well is because of God's response to all of your prayers! Never have I felt so at peace while Luke has been away. So I thank you all for your prayers. Please pray for a safe trip home for everyone in Kenya. I'm ready to see my husband! Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I can't believe how beautiful my two little girls are! I bought...

http://theericksonbunch.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 29, 2011. Friday, January 28, 2011. Luke got to take another day off. It would have only been a half day because of snow but was a full day since I had the stomach flu. Fortunately the snow made it a little more fun. The picture is taken out of our back door. The snow covering all of the trees looks so pretty! We have about 8 to 10 inches and are looking to get some more today. While entertaining Jada he gets Jael (who is not wearing pants) jumping on his back wanting to play! We are no...
The Erickson Bunch: April 2011
http://theericksonbunch.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Jael is such a little sponge. She soaks up everything we say and do and copies it! For example, while waiting in the drive through at Starbucks (I needed a chai tea to get through the day) she says "Mom, what on earth is taking so long? Of course she heard that from me at some point! Or when she is watching the neighborhood kids out of our back door and she scolds them for misbehaving. "Kids you need to stop that! But that leads me to the one thing she copies that I am so glad ...
