4 TBLS (1/2 stick) butter. 1 clove garlic, minced. 188; tsp oregano. 188; tsp basil. 8 cups popped popcorn. 189; tsp onion salt. 2 TBLS parmesan cheese. 189; tsp garlic salt. 189; stick butter or margarine. 188; tsp basil. 188; tsp oregano. 2 TBLS parmesan cheese. 8 cups popped popcorn. Melt butter in small saucepan; stir in garlic, oregano and basil. 1-2 minutes. Pour over popped popcorn in a large bowl; sprinkle with onion salt and parmesan cheese. Toss until lightly coated. A Cup of Sugar.

3 oz unsweetened chocolate, broken into ½ oz pieces. 2 cups heavy cream. 190; cup sugar. Heat 1 inch of water in the bottom half of a double boiler over medium heat. Place the unsweetened chocolate in the top half of the double boiler. Tightly cover the top with plastic wrap and allow to heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate to a stainless steel bowl, using a rubber spatula to remove all of the chocolate from the double boiler. A Cup of Sugar.

1 can sweet corn. 1 14 oz can black beans. 1 14 oz can white or red beans. 2 14 oz cans mexican stewed tomatoes. 1 package dry ranch dressing mix. 1 package dry taco seasoning. 3 lbs Fresh green beans chopped and blanched in salted water to desired tenderness. Can of french onions. 2 T fresh chopped chives (I have never put these in but it might be good). 2 T of fresh chopped thyme or 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves. 4 T grated parmesan. 5 T olive oil. 2 pounds mixed mushrooms (button, crimini, white, shiitake). 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1 cup heavy cream. Pour in the heavy cream, thyme, chives and cook for 5 minutes. Add the drained green beans and stir. A Cup of Sugar.

2 Packages yeast (4 1/2 teaspoons). 189; cup warm water (105 – 115 degrees). 189; cup (plus 2 tablespoons) butter. 189; cup sugar. 6¼ cups flour, shifted. 1 ½ sticks of melted butter. Sprinkle sugar over the yeast and dissolve in lukewarm water. Heat milk in saucepan and then add ½ cup (plus 2 tablespoons) butter in milk. Let cool and then add salt, egg yolks, and sugar. Mix the milk mixture and the yeast mixture. Add flour gradually and work by hand, or mixer, until glossy. Let rise about 15 minutes.

Great, Great Grandma Wallace’s Chicken Casserole. 1-2 Boxes stuffing—herb and butter or chicken flavor. 1 pound cooked chicken, cubed. Press stuffing in the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Put cooked chicken on top of stuffing. Prepare in large heavy pan. 1 cup butter, melted. Mix 1 cup milk and 1 cup flour into a smooth paste in a small bowl add to butter. The Best Hot Chocolate Ever. 10 oz best quality bitter-sweet or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped. Combine chocolate and milk in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until chocolate is melted and milk is very hot and frothy, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla; pour into blender, filling halfway. Makes two 10-inch shells. 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature. 4 large egg yolks. 1 1/2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract. 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Add yolks, one at a time; beat well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Add flour and salt; beat until mixture just comes together. Makes one 10-inch cake. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for work surface.
