I thought I'd start with a little update of where I am and what I'm doing. I've been with the office for over a year now-and recently celebrated my first promotion! I'm enjoying the job, but admit that sometimes I think it'll make me hesitant to put my kids in school. Here's a link to my first audit just in case anyone is curious. Thanks for catching us up! Just how we like it. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The other night, Mommy and Daddy sat us down and gave us some news. They told us that the baby was coming out of Mommy's tummy. The next morning, Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital. And out popped Colter Redding, weighing in at 9 lbs, 14 oz! Dr Nanda said it was the biggest baby to come out of such a small person! Leighton and I couldn't wait to meet him! And Lei just giggled every time she was near him. Later he had his first bath. And I'm loving it!

Just how we like it. Friday, November 16, 2012. Fun in the Fall! We've been spending a lot of time outside lately as the weather has been perfect. Cash, can I please have my swing back now? Leighton likes to play on the gas meter, she thinks it's a jungle gym. I like to play in my underwear! I joined soccer this fall. Lei would come to my games and cheer me on. Just how we like it. Friday, December 6, 2013. A Gingerbread Family Tradition! Every year we make our traditional gingerbread train, and this year things got a little out of hand! A little less force on the head banging Mommy! Of course Leighton had to put her face in it as well. And even Colter joined in on the fun! In case you haven't noticed, Coltie sure is growing up. But he still likes me to feed him his bottle! Ya, but he likes it better when I give him the good stuff. And then we went to the zoo.

Just how we like it. Friday, December 6, 2013. We've been preparing for Halloween for quite some time now. I wanted to go as a super hero combination. Leighton didn't care as long as she could wear lipstick. Daddy thought we should wear the costumes he wore as a kid. But in the end, I was a pirate, Lei was Snow White and Coltie was Tigger. With Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa came to my school Halloween party. And me with my best friend Ry Ry! And then we went trick-or-treating with Duck Dynasty!

Just how we like it. Sunday, October 20, 2013. Fun in the Summer. As many of you know, we like to have as much fun in the summertime as we can. Consider, exhibit A! This isn't the most fun for me Cash! Maybe we should turn off the sprinkler and go to the lake.". So that's what we did. Daddy and I rode the tube. And Miss and Lei Lei. Mommy and Lei Lei rode together too. And then things got really crazy! Even Coltie enjoyed himself. And then he was spent. No way, I'm going to drive all by myself!

Just how we like it. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The Great Adventure, Part 2! Leighton and I decided we were getting a little sick of Colter getting all the attention. So we got online and booked a camping trip. Every night we had a roaring fire. And our meals were prepared everyday! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Even my diaper changes were included as part of the package! We went on several "excursions", including spelunking! In cases like this it pays to be small! We found a nice little lake. Uh, too heavy!
