Saturday, November 26, 2011. Hopefully you will try the previous dish and enjoy it . Now, on to the next. How can any Thanksgiving meal be complete without a potatoes or sweet potatoes? Here's my version of the quintessential mashed potato dish . Garlic mashed potatoes. 2 tbsp garlic paste. 2 pounds russet potatoes -boiled. Freshly ground black pepper to taste. 3/4 cup heavy cream. Living in Consciousness Indi(r)a’s Food and Garden Weblog. Idly (Idli, Iddenlu). Idly stand and idly plates, some filled with urad dal. And rice ravva (cream of rice, rice suji). In a ratio of 1:2. 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds. Pinch of baking powder. Idly stand with idly plates (see the photo above). And a vessel with tight lid (suitable to fit idly stand). In just enough water overnight or for at least 4 to 6 hours. Drain the water and keep the drained water aside. And mix thoroughly without any lumps.
