Instead of celebrating the fact that I have done the hard work to maintain a supply of breastmilk for him so that I am still breastfeeding him at 8 months over 95% of the time! Sleep I miss it. A. Lot. But then there are the nights that I lay awake, hoping he starts moving so I can steal another 10 minutes with him. It's no lie to say being a parent is the hardest job in the world.but it is also the most rewarding! Be Kind. To everyone and everything.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013. We have been really busy getting ready to move, and selling the old house! It is more work than I ever would have expected, but we are almost there! Moving day is Saturday! In between work and the move we have managed to have a little fun. We have spent time with friends and family. Ernest and Jennette's son, Eli, turned one, so we couldn't miss his birthday! So excited to see these two in a few years, although if they are anything like Scott and Ernest, we are in for some trouble!

Thursday, April 19, 2012. Scott's Uncle lost his long fight with Cancer last Wednesday. It is a sad loss, but I think the entire family is thankful he is no longer suffering. The services will be at the end of the month and while it will be hard to say goodbye, it will be good to see so much of his family at once. Lots to be thankful for today.life, memories, family and love. Scott and I made a quick trip to visit his parents over the Easter weekend. The weather was great and we had such a great time!

Monday, November 21, 2011. And a wild child for sure! He enjoyed the cake pops his mom made, but didn't like his costume much. This was the only good picture I got of him as Dracula. He was so pumped about his bike, because he wants to do EVERYTHING Cole does! Proof he hated the costume. But we had to torture all the kiddos for at least one group shot! Monday, December 31, 2012. Motherhood has been a huge adjustment for me! I had always heard people say, "you just don't get it, until it's you and your child." And they were right. There is nothing like the adjustment of having someone depend on you 100% for everything 100% of the time. But it is amazing! And each day I continue to be amazed at how quickly he is growing and changing! Here we are at home when he was just four weeks old! I hardly remember him being this tiny! Here he is at 1 month old!

Thursday, May 9, 2013. Spring is turning out to be very busy for us, and it is going to get much busier! We are only three weeks until we close on our new house! We are so anxious to see the finished work on our house and to be closer to my family! And just in time for summer! Which means plenty of pool and cousin time for Carsten and I! And of course I put one together for Scott and Watson. Boys in the bunny ears from Nana! And of course Spring means Baseball so we took Carsten to his first Rockies game!

Justin reading the letter Santa left them.and it was a good one. Jessicas surprised face when she came out. And Caleb not excited yet. They all got new scooters from Papa and Nana.
