But I have been a little "slow moving" this week with furniture (like the tortoise), however, this chair was a fast project (like the hare)! This piece of furniture was donated by my family in St. Joseph, MI. Recently, after listening to a radio broadcast of Dave Ramsey, my husband told me a story about a man who was making a difference in his community and his financial freedom by flipping furniture. Meg and Casey Build a House! There we were, just minding our own business on a beautiful day, going for a ride in the country while staying at Cacapon State Park. In West Virginia. To make things interesting, we thought we would visit Broomgrass. A 320 acre, 19th century, working organic farm jointly owned and managed by the resident owners. Instead of celebrating the fact that I have done the hard work to maintain a supply of breastmilk for him so that I am still breastfeeding him at 8 months over 95% of the time! Sleep I miss it. A. Lot. But then there are the nights that I lay awake, hoping he starts moving so I can steal another 10 minutes with him. It's no lie to say being a parent is the hardest job in the world.but it is also the most rewarding! Be Kind. To everyone and everything.

Monday, February 6, 2017. The boy drank all her magnolia-wine. Is hosting a year-long Mastery Challenge. My mom and I decided to join and work through each challenge together, hoping to expand not only our preserving skills, but also our recipe compendium. Too see all of our projects, click here.
