Well a 3 day weekend (thanks to President's day) is now a 5 day weekend.and counting. Ice, ice, baby. I've taken the situation rather well. Normally I go crazy if I don't leave the house once a day. We've been busy around here. Daniel and I went to a friend's wedding outside of New Orleans last weekend. We stayed at a bed and breakfast and it was such a treat. We had a lovely time the entire weekend. The B and B was so charming! My beautiful friend and her new husband. I'm not buying this, but I think it's pretty. I am so over skin tight clothes! It's getting close to school time again. Yay! But I found this and though it's more expensive than others, I'm using it (sparingly). I like the print.

Meghan and Emma were in town for a baby shower my mom threw for my cousin and his fiancé. I took lots of pics. :) It was great to have the kids together. Great, chaotic, loud, fun. Gah It's over. Summer 2015. Overall, it was a wonderful summer. It was full of highs and lows. High points: France, and of course time with the family at home and on vacation. I wasn't super excited about the stay at home mom gig this year with Will being at his current age. I prefer people who can talk. He's so close! He does speak a little bit. No sentences or anything. He is a boy, after all. I just loathe fussing. He wasn't too bad, though, since he does have some words. He is such a rascal! So happy...

French Club Field Trip. At the beginning of this school year I asked my French Club what they wanted to do. They all reponded, "Field trip! I thought an art museum would work. There's a bunch of paperwork and approvals for these things, so I put it off for a while. Right after Christmas break I got serious about it and planned it. The Dixon Gallery in Memphis is perfect for a French Club field trip because they have a lot of French art. The Dixon and then Chick-fil-A for lunch. I took a few pics myself.
