Thursday, October 14, 2010. Christmas Knitting. I love giving knitted gifts, but I don't like the stress of figuring out what to make everyone. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Bekah revisited knitting yesterday and started a new project. Then she ask me to show her how to purl, which she picked up this time without difficulty. She's knitting several rows, then purling one, creating a mostly garter stitch fabric with little stocking stitch bands. Sometimes, I'm actually not knitting. Monday, September 16, 2013. Wednesday at Pictured Rocks. Wednesday, our plan was to hike to Chapel Falls (1.3 miles) have lunch, and then hike back to Chapel Beach Campground. When we remembered that the parking lot was only an additional 1.3 miles we decided to modify the plan a little. After looking at the falls for a bit, we hiked on to the parking lot and drove to a restaurant for a hot lunch! Bekah made some new friends. The hike back was just as beautiful.
