The freaky floating alien baby on the side of our blog has officially passed the half way point. Joel took the kids to see King Fu Panda today, something they have been looking forward to seeing ever since we bought a box of Rice Krispies that has pictures of the characters on the back. When they got home I asked Jonah about the movie. These are his thoughts. How was Kung Fu Panda? Who was in the movie? Mantis. Oh, oh, oh and the rhinoceros fell down onto the ground. Saturday, May 30, 2009. So it was really much too nice out Friday morning to miss an opportunity to walk to our park and adjoining duckpond, so we changed our school plans for the morning and made it a "Duck Day". Bethany took pictures of the ducks we saw.and a few of her brothers. Then we went home and researched a bit about ducks. Then Beth wrote some of what she learned. Bethany drew a picture of a duck! And that is how our "too-beautiful-to-stay-inside" school day went on Friday :).

Monday, December 28, 2009. Eating, skiing, and to top it all off, pushing the car back up the snowy hill. Looking super cute in their matching Helly Hansens. Not too happy about the snow suit. But much happier going down the sledding hill by himself. Ready to walk up to ski school. Annie coming down the hill. Riding the Magic Carpet. Working on his turns. A very happy christmas. The elves left jammies out on the porch on Christmas Eve. Jonah was excited. And Annie's Fur Real Kitty. We love a parade.

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Jonah is now four. His birthday was on the 17th and his official party was last Saturday. The most exciting part of his birthday was that he got to move up to the preschool Sunday School class at church (he mentioned it about 20 times that day.)
