AGU in America 2006: Annapolis
http://agu2006.blogspot.com/2006/08/annapolis.html
AGU in America 2006. Saturday, August 12, 2006. On Saturday, we had our field trip to Annapolis, the capital of Maryland (and former capital of the U.S., for nine months! Afterwards, we walked down Cornhill Street to the dock, where we all bought tickets for the Severn River cruise at 12:30. After buying the tickets, we had time to grab something to eat. I got a very nice crabcake sandwich at a deli on Main Street. Not cheap, but tasty! Posted by Nina Liakos at 10:21 PM. I want to live there some day.

AGU in America 2006: Mount Vernon
http://agu2006.blogspot.com/2006/08/mount-vernon.html
AGU in America 2006. Sunday, August 13, 2006. Today, Sunday, was our field trip to Mount Vernon. It was another spectacular day, weather-wise: sunny and in the mid 80s with low humidity. :-) The day almost got off to a bad start because we nearly missed the boat (my fault! I misread the Dash About shuttle bus schedule), but to make a long story short, we didn't. The boat ride down the Potomac to Mount Vernon was very pretty, although the boat wasn't as nice as the one we took yesterday in Annapolis.

AGU in America 2006: Farewell Ceremony
http://agu2006.blogspot.com/2006/08/farewell-ceremony.html
AGU in America 2006. Thursday, August 17, 2006. On Tuesday, the last day of the program, many of the students wrote very touching posts, saying how much they had learned and enjoyed themselves during the past two weeks. It made me very happy to read them, and sad too, of course, to think that the program was coming to an end. In Kevin's class, they learned a song which he had written and set to the music of a popular Japanese song (What is the name of the song? The song goes,. We came from Tokyo;. So see...

MY LIFE
http://ohyuiko.blogspot.com/2006/08/weekend-11-12-13-this-weekend-i-saw.html
Monday, August 14, 2006. Weekend 11, 12, 13. I haven’t finish today’s blog! It is very common to see beggars in many parts of Washington, DC and some parts of Maryland. Sad, isn't it? You can finish your post when you have more time. I hope you will continue to write in your blog in ENglish after you go back to Japan! Since that time, begging on the street has become more and more common here, as poor people get poorer and rich people get richer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Come back to my home.

MY LIFE: Laura's house in Japan
http://ohyuiko.blogspot.com/2006/12/lauras-house-in-japan.html
Monday, December 11, 2006. Laura's house in Japan. Today was a wonderful day. I visited Laura's house in Hiyoshi with Maiko, Yuki, Hiromi, Nobu, Eriko, and Fumi. There are many students from abroad. I want to go there again! Thank you very much, Laura! It was so nice to see your new post! What are the little furry critters? It sounds like AGU in America paid a visit to Laura! I'm glad you still get together with your Maryland friends. I hope to chat with you next week! Thank you for finding my new post!
