Mick and Sherrie's world. Saturday, October 6, 2012. Yes, my husband was right; the motorcycle trip really was great fun. I was wishing for just a couple more days. We started in Seattle, then on to Josiah and Jessica's beautiful wedding near Vancouver BC; then over 1200 miles up the Canada Highway. Then nearly 300 more miles on to Skagway on the Alaska Highway. Here are some highlights. Lunch at the top of the Space Needle. With great views of Seattle all around. On my 36th anniversary with my sweetie.

But blogger must be set an hour or two ahead, so it showed as a May post. So, what's new here? Just enjoying our family and trying to stay dry. In spite of our extremely wet May, I've got flowers blooming: bleeding heart, Icelandic blue poppy, lewisia, columbine. My beautiful Luna was in a ballet performance. Here's a favorite picture. I had to put this next one in while he's too young to protest. That look Felix is giving me! After this he politely asked me to close the door. PS: Number 8 will surprise us in December. Boy? Saturday, September 1, 2012. My weeks tend to follow the exact same routine. Sunday is Church, lunch and knitting, sometimes baking if I'm feeling up to it. I get to talk with my Dad on Sunday's, and hopefully will get to start skyping with David. Monday thru Thursday I go to work, go to the store once or twice, and then come home. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. November and December have been a bit of a blur for me. Thanksgiving was wonderful, but it kind of took a lot out of me. We had lots of food, friends and pie. We had my birthday, Tim's birthday, Erik's. Erik and Steve both had to work this Christmas, but we were still able to have our traditional Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas morning. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Well, I've only been posting once a month. What's up with that? I see that I tend to post only if I have taken pictures, and today is no exception. Steve and I had Robin and Eleanor today, and yes, I did indeed take pictures. :-). I still miss David, Tim and Katie and my Dad. And Shelly. I still want ya'll here. ALWAYS. I guess that's about it. Pictures. :-). Robin's new hat. It matches her blanket. Love. Playtime in the den. I need to get a new blanket. :-). I love baby feet.

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Grandparents. Steve and I are Grandparents. Grandpa and Nana. Baby girls. I don't know anything about girls, but I am going to learn. Larry and Kelly had Robin last night at 1:22 am. Kelly was in labor for a really long time, but it was worth it. She told me so. :-). Monday, June 27, 2011. June has been a really nice month so far. Pop and Shelly's visit has been really nice. I so wish they lived here. I haven't been able to do much with them because of my back. it's still pretty bad. I'm seeing a physical therapist and a massage therapist, it seems to be helping a bit. Miriah has been coming over almost everyday with Eleanor, I'm getting spoiled! David and his new glasses. We all went to the Island Pub for Father's Day. Me and my sweet Shelly. Best Picture. Ever.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. It's a lovely late Sunday evening. Today the sun came back, it was 65 degrees and wonderful. Yesterday I was sure fall had arrived. maybe we are getting a bit more summer? August has been an emotional month. Steve's Mom went to be with the Lord on Sunday the 12th. Even though we know she is happy and with the Lord, it is still hard. Just today I was telling Steve to remember his phone so he could call her tonight. They sit at the table Steve built every time they are here. :-).

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Church this Sunday was so amazing. It was Easter, and it is such a blessing to be able to celebrate Christ's resurection. The worship was awesome, Brian's teaching was great. We got to fellowship with lots of other believers. I love my church. We've been watching Robin since Kelly had to go back to work Monday. it is going to be challenging. My health has taken a nose dive; I don't know what all is wrong, but I am going to see a specialist next Thursday. We shall see! That I can'...

My sweet K K, Kelly cat died the day before Easter. I will miss you always. I decided to join in 2 fun knitting groups on Ravelry: the Harry Potter House cup and Nerd Wars. I love them both!

Fishing at Cape Coral, Florida. Monday, May 4, 2009. Spending two weeks with anyone can be a challenge but I enjoyed Tims company enormously. I think there may have been times when I got on his nerves. He being a very accomplished fisherman and me being a bit of an amateur. At one time I remarked that fishing with me was like taking his kid fishing. Tims reply was that his kid was actually quite good. Ouch. All in all a fanastic trip, probably never to be repeated.
