Friday, January 02, 2009. This week a lot of people were saying how glad they were to see 2008 go and were hoping for better things in 2009. I know that a lot of that has to do with the economy and I do hope things start turning around for everyone. But I just kept thinking about how good of a year 2008 was for me and my family. Here's our timeline/blogposts so far:. Inital paperwork, research, signing on - decided to work with a consultant who will help us work with multiple agencies, lawyers, etc. More paperwork and Adoption photoshoot with a photography friend of mine - Terra Martinez Photography. About adoption (after we had gotten a chance to tell our family and friends). May and June 2012. Moved to Germany.adoption things temporarily on hold while things are crazy and we are moving to a new country and getting settled.

Abi left the day job and started doing photography in 2011. She was able to pursue it as a small business in the states, but most likely will not be able to in Germany. She will continue to be taking photos as a hobby and may be working on some landscapes for fine art prints in the future. She is also going to be doing some volunteer photography and design work. Sunday, March 30, 2014. As a kid growing up my parents divorced when I was in preschool. After the divorce, my Dad moved to Greensboro, NC, and Mom moved Emily my sister and I to the suburbs of Atlanta where she took a job teaching 2nd grade. When we got to Atlanta my mom moved in with my newly widowed Grandmother for what was going to be six months, but has turned out to be 25 years. Grandmother and 4 out of 5 of her Grandchildren - 2011}. November 7, 1921 - March 30, 2014. Thanks for visiting our blog!

May 6, 2010. But we are moving on. The American Red Cross has asked me if I would take a new assignment….at a US Air Force base in England for 3 years. We said yes! Abi and I will be moving to RAF Mildenhall, England this July. My job title and most of my responsibilities will be very similar to what I am doing now.
