Tales from an Unfit Mother: January 2012
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Friday, January 27, 2012. My main thought lately has been that my kiddos are getting way too big and way too smart. I try not to think about it too much, but man, it is making sad! Not sad enough to want to throw another one into the mix though! Don't go getting any ideas. Dylan is doing so so so well in Kindergarten. He loves it! Gasp* My child who will not touch a veggie with a 10 ft pole chooses to eat salad at school. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tales from an Unfit Mother: June 2011
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. One Boy, One Girl. And I'm pretty good with what I've got. Perhaps one day (a few years from now), I will eat my word and say I'm ready for one more, but I don't think I will. These two keep me on my toes and are intent and making sure I stay slightly insane. This kid.well, he is a boy. Loud, rough, energetic, talkative, questioning everything, defiant, funny, sweet.it all describes Dylan. He will be starting Kindergarten this August. Yes, he will s...

Tales from an Unfit Mother: February 2014
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Friday, February 28, 2014. Here are five things I'm thinking about today. 1 One more week to we head off to North Carolina to go house hunting! Charlotte, here we come! 2 I am currently obsessed with these squeeze packs of Justin's Maple Almond Butter. Paired up with a fruit (usually a banana), it is the perfect snack after the hard core classes I've been going to at the gym. Me likey a whole whole lot! Sunday, February 9, 2014. I also need to be patient for sanity's sake....

Tales from an Unfit Mother. Saturday, January 11, 2014. Getting Back To Business. It's a new year and I'm ready to get back to blogging. This little journal of mine has taken a back seat the past couple of years, but I really need to get back at it - for the sake of my children having something to help them remember their childhood! My word for 2014 is: BE. What's not to love about these munchkins? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adam and Mindy Borer. Brent and Melinda Tuttle. Dan and Bekah Arnold.

Tales from an Unfit Mother: November 2011
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Bet you can't guess what I'm really, truly thankful for! Oh wait, I only talk about them all the time so you probably can guess right on the first try. I love my munchkins. Don't know what I would do without them. Actually, I'd probably be working at some job that I hate. So, I should probably be thanking them for needing me at home. This may seem a bit worldly, but I'm thankful for my car. After years of just driving what we could afford and wh...

Tales from an Unfit Mother: July 2011
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Why did no one warn me that time goes by even faster with the second child? This girl continues to warm my days.and nights. Oh yeah, at 15 months she still hasn't quite caught on to how awesome it is to sleep at night. She is lucky she's so cute. Lena smiles and laughs all.the.time. I have honestly never seen a happier toddler. Ugh, did I really just call her a toddler? Sunday, July 3, 2011. I've been having quite a few 'Aha! Mike and I are going on 7...

Tales from an Unfit Mother: August 2011
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Thursday, August 4, 2011. Big week in the Elkington house. Happy week, sad week, exciting week, nervous week.basically and every emotion under the sun week. Dylan started Kindergarten! I have been a little weepy about every milestone in Dylan's life. This one is taking first place for 'tug at the heartstrings.' I can finally empathize with all my friends who have gone before and prepare those who will experience this next year. All ready for his first day of school! Dylan sat ...

Tales from an Unfit Mother: Be Patient
http://madelkington.blogspot.com/2014/02/be-patient.html
Tales from an Unfit Mother. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Since we are about to jet off to Brazil again this week, I think my Be theme for February definitely needs to be Patient! With an impending move in a few months, I also need to be patient with the process. I am so anxious to get back to North Carolina, but time seems to be at a standstill. I have to keep telling myself to be patient because there are a lot of things that need to happen in the next 4 months. June will come soon enough. Jason and Amber ...
