But God is Good! Medicare had not paid me for about 6 months. We have been fighting to figure out what exactly they want on the billing and we finally figured it out. They sent me a check for the past 4 months or so. It was totally God's timing because the bills for the ER visit are coming in now. 1st trip to the ER.

Saturday, November 8, 2008. 1st trip to the ER. Well I guess it takes a kidney stone to make me post again. Thursday night I (emily) woke up with severe pain in my side. As the pain got worse I knew it was a kidney stone. Long story short, we ended up going to the ER. They confirmed that it was a kidney stone and let me know I have 6 or 7 more building up in my kidneys.yea! Loaded me up with drugs and sent me home. It's now Saturday and I am feeling much better! Monday, November 3, 2008. Happy Birthday to Lily! Today she turned 5! Mommy is having a hard time dealing with this. I no longer have any toddlers! My baby, is growing up, now will be going to school in less than a year.I'm so sad! Today was her day, she started off with a family tradition of special breakfast, here's what she "ordered". Then she got her first gift of the day from Gram and Grandad! Her BIG Girl Bike, which she loved and rode all around in our Living Room! All in all it was a good day!

Mike did a pretty awesome job this year for my birthday. Surprised me completely with an awesome trip to do exactly what I wanted to do.
