Friday, November 13, 2009. I had great fun for the second time trick or treating in Old Colorado City! I was a BIG MEAN lion for Halloween and walked around growling and saying "tickoteet" to everyone! My friends Sam (that cute monkey) and Jack (that awesome Batman) came with me! I was a sucker for suckers this year, and still ask for one daily.*sigh*. Oh Willy Wonka.you own us! And yes, my Mommy took me to Saturday night Mass.IN my costume! Fall Fun at the Pumpkin Patch. Friday, July 24, 2009. I just love summer! Playing outside is my idea of a good time. And what better to play outside with than the waterhose? Especially since we live in Colorado and there is not a pool readily available to us (ahhhh, to be in Odessa with Gramette and G-pa.now that is a pool I dig). Wednesday, December 10, 2008. 1st ER Bill and a prayer request. Ekk That was an expensive lesson for us to learn. I will be on Mike's insurance as soon as open enrollment starts. No question. But God is Good! Medicare had not paid me for about 6 months. We have been fighting to figure out what exactly they want on the billing and we finally figured it out. They sent me a check for the past 4 months or so. It was totally God's timing because the bills for the ER visit are coming in now. My mind out loud.

Saturday, November 8, 2008. 1st trip to the ER. Well I guess it takes a kidney stone to make me post again. Thursday night I (emily) woke up with severe pain in my side. As the pain got worse I knew it was a kidney stone. Long story short, we ended up going to the ER. They confirmed that it was a kidney stone and let me know I have 6 or 7 more building up in my kidneys.yea! Loaded me up with drugs and sent me home. It's now Saturday and I am feeling much better! Saturday, March 28, 2009. 2 weeks, 2 days, and Counting! Yesterday we took the kids sledding. They had been waiting all winter long to go sledding and other than being able to go once in the mountains while visiting Lindsey and Daniel, we hadn't gone all year! Rylynn took two runs along the side of the hill but it wasn't steep enough and able to give her a fast ride. So, we decided to let her try and ride the big hill and go over the cliff. (This video shows her on that ride). Thursday, March 5, 2009.
