The Four Prices: 2/21/10 - 2/28/10
http://the4prices.blogspot.com/2010_02_21_archive.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. First, it's important to know I'm not a big perfume girl. Many scents give me headaches, and I tend to think most are just too strong for my tastes. A little goes a LONG way for me. Last night as I was getting lunches packed for the morning, getting the boys ready for bed, etc. I kept getting whiffs of a very strong, very ' florally. Carey's "Fancy" was just the scent he was looking for. As I got a clean PJ. He was so proud, and he thought he smelled delicious. Mariah.

The Four Prices: Jack turned 5
http://the4prices.blogspot.com/2011/05/jack-turned-5.html
Saturday, May 14, 2011. Just about a month ago "baby Jack" turned 5! So it's official. He's not little anymore! Time has flown by, and I still can't believe that he has turned into this spirited, funny, quirky, entertaining, encouraging, and crazy little person right before my very eyes. We took a trip to Dollywood. For his b-day weekend since it fell over spring break, and got to celebrate with family up there in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. LOVE the rocket ships fire coming out! Our Sweet "Maddie Dog".

Saturday, May 14, 2011. And while at Dollywood. It was so fun that the long weekend we were in the mountains some good friends happened to be there with their family too. Obviously, we had to meet up with them and let the kiddos ride some rides together. They thought it was way cool to get to hang out with friends on our little vacation. This was also the first time that Sam rode the grown-up roller coasters. Oh yeah! Heidi and Mo do the Veggie Tales roller coaster- always a highlight! For his b-day week...

The Four Prices: Jack-ism of the day
http://the4prices.blogspot.com/2011/04/jack-ism-of-day.html
Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Jack-ism of the day. Jack's B-day is next week, so we were looking through a book of cakes for him to give me some ideas of what he'd like. We'd decided on a nice 2 dimensional rocket-ship that could make the trip over the mountains with us (I vetoed the 3-D style cakes this year just for the sake of ease in packing). Anyway, he spotted another picture and said he wanted, "the volcano that is interrupting. Shall I mention that typically he's the volcano that's interrupting?

Friday, March 19, 2010. As the temperatures hit 70 degrees today, I figured I'd better go ahead and put up these snow pictures. Because tomorrow, spring officially arrives, and we will soon forget about the weeks (or months) of very cold and sometimes pleasantly snowy weather. Seriously, even for a northern girl like me, it got cold! However, the frugal (perhaps somewhat 'cheap') side of me worked hard to keep down the electric bill. I get bitter when it nears $200 a month! These boys loved it! Ignore...

The Four Prices: Big Announcement. Huge.
http://the4prices.blogspot.com/2011/08/big-announcement-huge.html
Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Big Announcement. Huge. Ok folks, (I think most anyone reading this blog probably already knows about this but just in case) we are indeed expecting our third baby boy this October. Charles (Charlie) Wilson Price is due to join our family in early October (isn't he a cutie? Yep, my poor wife. She is completely and totally outnumbered. People keep telling me that before long, I will have my own basketball team which I guess would be exciting if I were a "baller.".

The Four Prices: 9/5/10 - 9/12/10
http://the4prices.blogspot.com/2010_09_05_archive.html
Saturday, September 11, 2010. So summer has gone by in a hot, hazy, humid blur. While at the time I didn't think a month long stretch of 99-102 degree days could fly by, I now know better. Here is the beginning of a synopsis is pictures of what our HOT HOT HOT SC summer looked like. Various silliness that has no rhyme or reason what-so-ever. Is dating now or see who looked better in any given gown). That, my friends, is a beautiful thing. Anyway, most days found my budding Michael Phelps (minus t...Cousi...

Saturday, May 8, 2010. So back in 1908 a woman decided to honor her mother (who had died the year before) by giving white carnations to all the mothers in her church one Sunday in May. In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson (without a campaign contribution from Hallmark) made Mother's Day an official holiday. Don't ask me how I know this- I'm just filled with useless knowledge. Anyway- I'm grateful to celebrate this day as the proud (mildly neurotic) mom of two lovely (mildly hoodlum- ish. GOOD FOR THE HEART.

Friday, April 30, 2010. My baby is 4! In the beginning. so tiny and new! First birthday- still a baby. B-day #2- looking a little more like a big kid. Cupcakes with cowboy hats and cow sprinkles were the back-up plan just in case fondant and I couldn't be friends. But thanks to the internet. A five pound tub of chocolate fondant, and a friend who knows a thing or two about cakes. I conquered my fear of fondant and made Jack a cowboy hat cake for his cowboy party. And the party is on! The dog- not Grammie.
