Scott and Hannah

Monday, December 29, 2014. Fall Semester, Christmas, and the New Year. Well, as quickly as Fall Semester began, it's already over! I seriously can't believe it. It was a crazy semester between our schedules, but it sure made time fly! So let's just start with Fall Semester. It was pretty crazy. Scott was on full-time rotations (40 hours a week), as well as 20 hours a week of his internship at the Hospital. So he was basically working 60 hours a week! Fall semester for me was pretty good, too! Go Ahead...

Scott and Hannah: April 2013

http://www.scottandhannahallen.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, April 28, 2013. This is my favorite picture of her ever. Scott took it- and no we didn't pose her. She just sleeps with her hands like that a lot. :). She decided my womb was much to comfy to come on time, so on April 24, a week after my due date, we went to the hospital at 6am to begin the induction process. We got there, got checked in, and by 6:45 or so they had started the pitocine (not entirely sure how to spell it? Right after they wiped her off and weighed her. W e got to come home on Frid...

Scott and Hannah: March 2013

http://www.scottandhannahallen.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 29, 2013. 19 Days- Give or Take. Well, the countdown is on. For real. ha. We only have 19 days left until our due date. Which is just over 2.5 weeks. Which is not long at all! Thanks to both sides of our family throwing me a shower, my ward throwing me a shower, and some awesome friends throwing me a shower we finally have all the essential things we need (I think)! I had been wondering all week if the baby had dropped because I have felt a lot more pressure on my sciatic nerves on both sid...

Scott and Hannah: July 2013

http://www.scottandhannahallen.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 1, 2013. Okay, so now I get to write about the last 2 months with Lilli. :) And post lots of pictures. First of all, I can't believe its already been 2 months! Lilli will be 10 weeks on Wednesday. I seriously don't know where the time went. I only get 2 more months with her before we have to go back to school. :(. Its crazy how much she changes in 2 months! The rest of the post I am just going to put pictures that show a kind of progression of her development. :). Again- so tiny. :). Again, ...

Friday, January 4, 2013. Remember how I said I was going to blog more often to keep you updated on my pregnancy? Yeah um. Sorry. Ha. I guess some things, like my lack of ability to blog consistently, will never change. :). The pregnancy is still going well. :) I finally have a noticeable baby bump. I am 25 1/2 weeks- which means I am almost done with the second trimester! Rutabaga- for those who are as clueless as me. So all in all, only 15 more weeks left. Which seems like a small number. And af...Anywa...

Adventures and Contemplations: February 2016

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2016_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Griffin @ 2 Months. Two months old already? But I love my little Griffin! He's a happy baby, especially in the mornings. Sometimes he decides to start the day way earlier than I would like, so I get up with him and grumble and complain until I sit down and he smiles at me without provocation. My heart melts every single time and somehow I manage to smile back. A little about Griffin. He does not like tummy time. He spits up constantly. I can't wait to hear those first giggles.

Adventures and Contemplations: June 2013

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 24, 2013. Thoughts on Marrying a Soldier. In a little over a month, I will be marrying Garrett, an incredible guy who gives me reason to keep going every day and to smile and love life. Garrett is in the Utah National Guard and is on the path of becoming an officer in the Army. I am grateful to be marrying a man who is working to preserve the liberty of this country. His willingness to serve and his enthusiasm with which he goes about his tasks inspire me. Quite frankly, I think the ...When ...

Adventures and Contemplations: Travels with Garrett to Sweet Home Alabama

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2014/11/travels-with-garrett-to-sweet-home.html

Thursday, November 6, 2014. Travels with Garrett to Sweet Home Alabama. The route we took. We knew the drive was going to be long, about 34 hours, so we were prepared with two Harry Potter audiobooks, and those were a lifesaver! I probably would have gone crazy if I hadn't been able to keep my mind occupied with something on our long drive. And since we had the time, we decided to do some sightseeing on our way. Garrett's first comment about the cake was, "Wow, that is definitely a Blackhawk." Go Hil!

Adventures and Contemplations: December 2013

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Only one more week in this semester and then one more semester to go until graduation! I remember back in high school thinking that high school graduation felt forever way, and I refused to even think about college graduation because it seemed so far in the future to even try to think about. But now, I'm only a semester of student teaching away from graduation, and it is a glorious feeling. Wish me luck as I begin this adventure! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures and Contemplations: Andersons and Arches

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2014/09/andersons-and-arches.html

Thursday, September 4, 2014. Last month, we went with Garrett's family down to Moab for this year's Anderson Family Reunion. Yeah I know I'm a little slow in blogging about it, but it is what it is. Garrett and I were lucky enough to drive Grandpa Dave's yellow jeep down to Moab. The ride was a little bumpy, but hey, we were just happy to be able to go down at all. It's a good thing Garrett's tough because he had to wrestle with the steering wheel a little bit. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Adventures and Contemplations: January 2016

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 9, 2016. This is several weeks overdue, but better late than never. Here's the lovely tale of Griffin's birth. On November 19th, I went in for my 38 week appointment. This was the first time Dr. Heim checked my cervix, and I was dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced and that baby's head was really low and ready to go. He told me that he wouldn't be surprised if the baby came that weekend, but that it could also be another couple of weeks. But it was still Tuesday and I had six days before the ...

Adventures and Contemplations: Celebrate Life

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2015/05/celebrate-life.html

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Ever since I can remember, my paternal grandmother has decorated her house for every holiday and season that comes. Whether it's Christmas, back to school, or Memorial Day, she always has something out to celebrate that season. I always thought it was kind of funny that she did this, maybe a little unnecessary and more time consuming than anything. However, as I've grown older and wiser (hopefully) I've learned that my grandma has some things figured out. My grandma celebrates life.

Adventures and Contemplations: October 2013

http://adventuresandcontemplations.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 12, 2013. Little did we know back in 4th grade when we first met that we would one day be husband and wife. We've been married for 2 months and 13 days, and we've loved every moment of it. We thought we'd share a little from our wedding day, the day we chose to start our forever. Just heading to the temple! Can you see how excited we were? Garrett: prepare yourselves for something cool. Our fairyland begins when we were in high school. A date or two; that's all we did. Well bless my soul.

Saturday, October 24, 2009. To Blog again or not to Blog again. So I've been gone so long I'm not sure if I should come back or not! But, I'm thinking that I might give it a go again. We have lots of things coming up, Like Scott's birthday, Lily's birthday, Mom's Birthday and Jack's Birthday, not to mention Thanksgiving and Christmas! So I thought it would be a good way to document all of these fun things. We've had a really rough year.I won't go into detail but I'm sure most of you know! I'll admit it, ...

Will also loves music, country to be precise. He puts his hand up in the air and sways and smiles. It appears that he loves making music too. He now has several drums, tambourines and other noise makers. For this Mama who avoided all toys that made sounds with Belle, I am learning to embrace Will's love for music.
