Mike did a pretty awesome job this year for my birthday. Surprised me completely with an awesome trip to do exactly what I wanted to do. Thought through every detail, prepared every last thing, waking me up at 5:30am to say "get up, we're going on an adventure.". No better words could be spoken. Mike is a father of five, a friend to many, a respected co-worker and supervisor, and a husband. On January 5, 2008, around 7:00 pm, Mike Carter was broad-sided by a tractor-trailer truck just outside of Logansport, Louisiana. He sufferered extensive head trauma and numerous broken bones.
