Thursday, March 28, 2013. For Luke's birthday we surprised him with an indoor skydiving experience. He loved it! As we were waiting for his turn we got to watch a group of very skilled sky divers do some tricks and training. Even Abby was amazed. Then it was Luke's turn. They got him all suited up and went over the instructions. He had two turns to fly and this is a video of his second flight. He walked away with a huge smile on his face and I felt successful in giving a great present this year.

I saw past the horrible colors and bad carpet and saw the potential it had. So for the last couple months we have been working on getting it more livable and we are finally getting more settled in. What a difference new carpet and paint will do! The first room I painted was the dinning room because it was the ugliest room I have ever seen! Painted the backsplash white.

Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Mim's birthday started the month off right. She'd been looking forward to it for weeks and weeks. She woke up to 300 and something balloons outside her bedroom door (she moved into her new basement room a few days beore, right at the end of March). I wish I had done that many for her birthday party, but now I know how many balloons it really takes to cover the whole family room floor. Marble run was a big hit with Mim.}. Post raking, tilling, and raking again, pre- planting}.
