GAME ART (portfolio): Ludum Dare 21
http://miraris.blogspot.com/2011/08/ludum-dare-21.html
My game art portfolio. Feel free to look around! Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Last weekend, TJR took part in Ludum Dare. For the first time. The competition was solo only, so we participated in the jam instead. In addition to the usual crew, Jukka Kivijärvi also joined our jam team, which means that we had a two graphic artists. This allowed me to concentrate on making tilesets while Jukka illustrated the intro. Here's a screenshot from the result of our work, "Spiritual":. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Game Portfolio: toukokuuta 2010
http://zendariel.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tiistai 25. toukokuuta 2010. Nothing much going on. Some trouble with the engine so I changed the game idea into a "everyday shooter" type game, or. A modernised "phobia II" if you don't know the first one. Experiencing a little hurry and took forever to get the mouseposition working so probably coding an modelling rest of the week. Installed 3dsmax 2011 day before yesterday and it loves to do funny stuff i hate, like making parts of a mesh disappear if I apply two or more materials into it.

GAME ART (portfolio): Break The Aliens!
http://miraris.blogspot.com/2011/03/break-aliens.html
My game art portfolio. Feel free to look around! Sunday, March 27, 2011. Is TJRs first commercial game (Windows phone 7). A nostalgic retro look was required for this one. Here's a screenshot from the game:. Note: The awesome aliens were made by Niklas.). A piece of the city sheet. There are a total of three cities, each having three versions. If you let your hearts drop too low, your city will look pretty miserable. Sigh* I never saw this screen in the game, myself. C) Kajak Games, done by me.

GAME ART (portfolio): Project Shiva
http://miraris.blogspot.com/2011/03/project-shiva.html
My game art portfolio. Feel free to look around! Sunday, March 27, 2011. Is a space shooter arcade game. Here's two potatoe-erm, asteroids I made for the game. And a very irritating enemy that shoots in four directions:. And some planets for the background. Color was added via coding, randomly. It was glorious. What are the odds to get so many puke-green planets at once? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a 21-year old graphic design student from Finland. I'm a member of TJR. View my complete profile.

Game Portfolio: huhtikuuta 2010
http://zendariel.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Torstai 8. huhtikuuta 2010. Currently I'm working on a small advance wars like strategy game with C and KAJAK3D, which is our schools engine, for two school courses, AI and game programming. I made a four player Pong with it a little while ago for a different course. other than that I have mostly been trying new stuff and studied collisions and game physics. I've also tried to spark a new game project using XNA with my friends and I've thought of building a simple 2D-Engine for XNA to be used in our games.

Game Portfolio: Nanobots
http://zendariel.blogspot.com/2010/04/nanobots.html
Torstai 8. huhtikuuta 2010. This is or was our game for the imagine cup, but due circumstances it was quite unfinished when we entered it into the first round. It's more like a tech demo I coded but hopefully we will finish it even if it doesn't make it's way to the second round. The tail is made of individual objects that get the position to follow, which is on the piece that comes before it. Because of that it looks very fluent. Check the "techdemo" on youtube. To see it in action.
