Claire Keely's Research. Laquo; The end of field work. My natural history note. July 1, 2013 by cckeely. A wise post-doc mentioned to me the other day that this is often how it feels when doing a PhD. For most of it you can feel like you’re not getting anywhere and then suddenly everything starts falling into place. This is how I feel at the moment. Who knows how long it will last, but for the time being, I’m really happy with all I’ve achieved and feel like celebrating! My first day of PhD field work.

A few weeks ago I attended the International Congress of Conservation Biology (ICCB), held in Baltimore, Maryland. 'Minibeasts' WebQuest

By Laura Stable 2172699 Griffith University. Our class has received a letter from a scientist who has asked us to find out information about various ‘minibeasts’ (small animals) in our area. To read the letter, click on the link below. To be a successful researcher we will need to collect some live specimens. Therefore we will also need to design a ‘bug catcher’ or observation chamber. There are three parts to this WebQuest. Please print the design challenge journal below to record your design process.
