Basically since my last post, I have been to Bavaria (Bayern - don't know why we call it Bavaria), bought a Dirndl, visited my mom's best friend (who is like my godmother if I had one) in Dortmund, and had my first three-and-a-half weeks of school. Miriam's YFU Exchange to Germany! Monday, June 20, 2011. I am so excited right now! I just got information about my host family and my school in Germany! I have a mom and dad and two sisters, ages 14 and 17 which is PERFECT. He is described as an "employee/farmer" and she is an "educationalist," (not really sure what that means, but maybe a teacher? Anyway, I would assume that means they live on a farm, which is not what I necessarily wanted, but it'll be fun. They have a cat (I love cats!
