Wednesday, January 26, 2011. December 2010 and January 2011. Well obviously my goal of getting up at least 2 blogs a month didn't happen from November - but here's to trying again. :). Our family had an awesome Christmas and New Years. We were very busy, but didn't have any less fun because of it. We had 4 Christmas' this year between different families houses so many of the pictures are from those celebrations. A special treat we don't always get on Christmas was SNOW in Seattle! Valerie was too cute in...

http://monicarae01.blogspot.com/2008/12/mt-hood-railroad.html
Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. To celebrate our anniversary, graduation and the fall term of school being done, I surprised Chris with a trip on the Mt. Hood Railroad. The 4 hour train ride travels from Hood River to the base of Mt. Hood and back. If you haven't been to that part of Oregon you really should, there are lots of orchards and farms, rivers and streams, waterfalls, nature galore. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). OUR LIFE: IN BRIEF. Where do I begin?

Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Should we or Shouldn't we? When everyone was in Issaquah for Kia's wedding last August we finally made our 1st trip to the XXX burger stand. The food was great and we were able to see what XXX really stood for. It referred to their triple extra large portions. We were all starving when we got there and made the big mistake of ordering our own meals (If you go, no matter how hungry you are SHARE with someone). Saturday, February 16, 2008.

Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Where do I begin? You would think with school done things would have slowed down for us, but think again. As soon as finals were completed, Chris was on "operation finish grad school applications". For those of you who have applied to grad school, you know what I am talking about. But, I am happy to say he is done with his portfolios, letters of intent, etc. FINALLY! After waiting at the airport for 3 hours, my mom picked us up and took us for ...

Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Sunday, January 27, 2008. There is something about snow that makes me feel like a kid inside. Chris and I woke up to giant snow flakes falling outside and so we jumped out of bed, put on our rarely used snow gear and went for a walk around the neighborhood. The only thing that would have made our walk better would have been MORE SNOW! Our house in the snow:) ). Friday, January 18, 2008. Finally a weekend with no school or work to do.FINALLY! McKelvey 5: April 2010
http://mckelvey5.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. Here's Kai with Sadiyah, Martay and Robert. Quincy is one of Kai and Kolbie's friend. We watched Quincy when he was a baby, and he and Kai have a special little bond. They love to wrestle and run around with eachother. The wind was blowing but we got the cake lit and blown out all at the same time. It was great timing. Here are a few pics of the show. :). That is a real man narrating in the left hand corner. Just to give you perspective on how actually big the dinosaurs were.

Monday, June 21, 2010. Day Trip to Bonneville Dam. On June 12, 2010 mom and dad came up from Salem and we took the kids to Bonneville Dam. It was free fishing day for kids under the age of 12 and the event was held by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which is dad's stomping grounds. He knew MANY of the people volunteering to help at the event. When you walked around you could see the channels in which the fish had to go through to get through to the river. This is them swimming up stream. The kids th...

Saturday, May 1, 2010. She has her spurts of energy and play time, but is still a puppy at only 8 wks, so she is tired out soon. She has provided a great play mate and disctraction for Abbie, who at times I don't think she really knows what to think of her. Having just been weened from her mama, she has tried to feed on Abbie a couple of times, but that quickly ended as Abbie stood to the ground, letting her fall to the floor hard. She learned her lesson, and Abbie I don't blame you one bit. :). Kolbie d...

The white tiger chronicles. Love is a white tiger with machine guns for eyes and an ice cream dripping mouth so just shut up and love me. Friday, October 31, 2008. An update on my life. Wow, it is really, really hard to keep up with blogging now that I am back in school. By the time I get home at night, hang out with my family, get the boys to bed ,and do my homework, I've got nothing left. I am now enjoying a nice quiet Halloween night (we went to our church's Harvest Carnival. Saturday, October 18, 2008.
