Wednesday, March 7, 2012. The Unending Chain of Side Effects. The reason I'm seeing her so frequently is that I'm trying to change meds. I was on a ton of Seroquel. Plus lithium, and we're trying to phase out the Seroquel and get me on another atypical antipsychotic. Last week, she cut my Seroquel almost in half and prescribed Abilify. Something I was on a long time ago but don't remember a lot about. Turns out, the Abilify (like Geodon. Before it, another atypical antipsychotic) gives me akathasia.

Greek Yogurt Raspberry Scones. 2 cups organic unbleached flour. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp baking soda. 1/3 c Bertolli extra light olive oil. 1 small (7oz) container Fage 2% plain Greek yogurt. 1/3 c whole milk. 1 1/2 c frozen Market Pantry/Target raspberries. Whisk dry ingredients together. Cut in olive oil with whisk until mixture is small crumbs. Mix in yogurt and milk with rubber spatula until nicely combined but not overworked. Roll out dough into rectangle shape on very lightly floured board.
