MishMash: There are worse things in life...
http://gescol966.blogspot.com/2010/09/there-are-worse-things-in-life.html
Tuesday, September 21, 2010. There are worse things in life. A mother passing by her daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then she saw an envelope propped up prominently on the center of the bed. It was addressed, “Mom.” With the worst premonition, she opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:. Your daughter, Judith. Call when it is safe for me to come home. October 7, 2010 at 6:35 AM. OMGis she trying to give you a hard attack?

Get to Know Us. Spencer, According to Whitney. Whitney, According to Spencer. Once upon a time, there was a tall maiden and a taller chap. They met whilst students at Brigham Young University. He was a recently returned missionary. She was his family home evening mom. Need we say more? After pursuing various medical options, they decided that adoption was a blessing that co...

The Flower Girl Blog: May 2012
http://megtheflowergirl.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The Flower Girl Blog. Monday, May 21, 2012. Pink and navy blue. Pink and navy blue are a fabulous color combo. I just love the bold contrast. These wedding flowers were various shades of pink, with navy blue and silver accents. Plus the godetia are more showy, so the eye is drawn more to them.). The bride's bouquet was made entirely with godetia. These beautiful blossoms are light pink around the ruffled edges with dark pink centers. See what I mead about that ruffly/feminine look? And here you can see h...

http://megtheflowergirl.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The Flower Girl Blog. Tuesday, October 8, 2013. A little while back I got an email from a bride whose wedding I did last fall. And she sent me this beautiful photo from the wedding! I love the simple elegance of roses, and the soft lavender color fit the style of the wedding so perfectly. I'm sifting through pictures from the rest of my summer weddings, so I'll hopefully share those with you soon! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Flower Girl website. Http:/ meg-theflowergirl.webs.com. MishMash: Don’t wait. The time will never be just right…
http://gescol966.blogspot.com/2010/09/dont-wait-time-will-never-be-just-right.html
Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Don’t wait. The time will never be just right…. Today, I was in a family reunion. My uncle decided to tell us all about the recent e-mail he received. He told us it was one of the most deep e-mails he’s ever received. We all asked why? For a special occasion. That day the man took the undies and placed them in his wife’s coffin.”. October 7, 2010 at 9:01 PM. That is actually sad. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget.

The Flower Girl Blog: June 2013
http://megtheflowergirl.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The Flower Girl Blog. Saturday, June 29, 2013. Bright summer wedding flowers. Occasionally I have a bride who is coming in from out of town to get married, and so we communicate through phone calls and emails and never actually meet face to face. That was the case with this wedding, although I felt like I got to know a little bit of her personality through planning her wedding flowers with her. She wanted a very bright, summery color palette, which was a lot of fun! For the mothers' corsages we added a l...

The Flower Girl Blog: September 2012
http://megtheflowergirl.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
The Flower Girl Blog. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Today I had the pleasure of doing my first wedding since having my baby this summer. It was the perfect wedding to transition back into this again, since the bride only needed one thing: her bouquet. She was very much a no-nonsense bride, and wanted to keep everything super simple. No wedding party, no extravagant reception, just the ceremony and dinner with family and friends. Lavender rose bouquet with white ribbon wrap and pearls. Back in the saddle.

The Flower Girl Blog: fall sunflower bridals
http://megtheflowergirl.blogspot.com/2013/11/fall-sunflower-bridals.html
The Flower Girl Blog. Thursday, November 14, 2013. I've gotten way behind on here, but I decided to share a little fall inspiration today from a bridal session I recently did a bouquet for. This bride loves sunflowers, so those are the basis for all of the florals for the bridals and the wedding (coming up in a couple weeks). We went with a lovely fall palette of deep yellows, cranberry reds, and rusty oranges, with navy blue as an accent. There are also some mums and yellow wax flowers too.
