John and Margaret-Ann last met up with John’s cousins Edith, Christina and Waltraud (three sisters) and Waltraud’s husband Sonny in Vienna in September of 2011 (check out the earlier blog posting). Antoinette for the last time at 9:30 in the morning in Basel. Later in the afternoon they went back and further explored the old town, finishing up with a glass of wine and crêpes for dinner in a very quaint courtyard café before returning to the hotel and turning in for the night. The Prince of Wales Hotel is open from the middle of June until Labor Day weekend. The view of Upper Waterton Lake from the Prince of Wales Hotel. The Hamlet of Waterton. Only two hotels and the post office stay open during the winter. Town population during the winter months is about 50. Click on the picture for an enlarged view. View from our hotel window in Zakynthos overlooking Affinity tied up to the town pier. Zakynthos main square on a hot, sunny, Sunday afternoon. Overlooking the bay of Porto Vromi from the main road. Boats tied up in the clear water of Porto Vromi. Do you recognise the umbrella on the beach? Sitting on the beach, Porto Vromi. A good spot to stop for a cup of coffee.
