Butlers on the Bay. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Yesterday I renewed my encouragement for him to stand on his feet, and he did so successfully for several seconds a few times. The main difference was that he actually liked doing this! Any other time I would encourage him he had no interest (bum on the floor). Then he tried again, and was again successful. Butlers on the Bay. Sunday, October 24, 2010. Evan is competitive with me in getting to play the piano, often literally pushing me off of the bench so he can play! His playing is methodical and calculated, and Mark and I are beginning to wonder what he might do with the piano in the future. We're both trying to play every day now to set a good example! Butlers on the Bay. Sunday, December 19, 2010. It has been a busy month.Whew! While I've let my blogging slip, I haven't forgotten to take a few photos. I'll start by posting pictures of my friend Sara's visit to SF. It's impossible to count how many years I've known Sara, and it was so meaningful to have her visit and finally meet Evan. Thank you so much for coming, Sara! For some reason, the website isn't letting me cut and paste the photos, so you get to see the trip backwards. And it was fantastic!
