It is what it is. Sounds Like You’re Looking Well. January 29, 2010. During 2005/2006, I was fortunate enough to live in Dublin for a year. While I was over there, I made some truly incredible friends and grew to have a real appreciation for the Irish and their culture (not that I really needed convincing). He’d always say, in his thick Tipperary way, “Ahh, well hello Mrs. L, sounds like you’re looking well! 8221; She loved it. Rest in Peace, Patrick. You will be missed. January 29, 2010 at 6:36 pm.

It is what it is. January 19, 2010. Does the word “criteria” bug you? Or, as a lawyer, am I just conditioned to hate it? 8220;A person must meet this criteria or that criterion to pass this test.” It seems like such a clinical and cold word. Am I wrong? Yes, I am a “christian.” I went to Catholic elementary school but don’t really consider myself a practicing catholic, yet I met this criteria. How does that work? True to form he was trying to guess my password to send some raunchy email to an unidentified colleague that would momentarily embarrass me, until they realized…. oh, it’s just [name redacted]. Groan. Idiot. 8220;Come on, what’s your password? 8220;It is the name of my first pet. You figure that out and you’re golden.”. And so on and so forth. So many times I’ve thought. I love this man. More than anything in the world. Now I keep my heart close and don’t say a word. I peer out the window. As huge snowflakes drop to the ground. Settling loosely on cars and tree branches. The area beneath his truck is dry. He rolls over snuggled in the bed. 8220;5 more minutes?

And he’s sweating. And I’m trying so damn hard. As he repeatedly brings the tissue. If you know you sweat this much. Don’t you plan for it? I eye the sweater. Want to urge him to take it off. But I notice the collared shirt underneath. And realize — the pit stains — ugh. Turning redder by the moment. We make small talk.
