Karibu! Welcome!: A short bit on Tanzania...

http://www.mollieinkenya.blogspot.com/2007/04/short-bit-on-tanzania.html

April 1, 2007. A short bit on Tanzania. I apologize that my last entry looked an awful lot like a research paper. I guess I'm a nerd and when my mind is overwhelmed with information, it defaultly. Organizes the info into paper format. As a reward for getting through the past entry, I will make this one brief. Right now, I am sitting on the Internet. In Tanzania, at the home of Pete O'Neal. Crater and saw tons of animals, including rhinos, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest. And hippos. It was fantastic!

March 27, 2007. A Hard Day's Night. So, I was going to write all about my stay in Kisii, but it was actually not very exciting and the past few days have allowed me to become much more introspective and I hope, more interesting for you to read about. In short, here is a synopsis of Kisii. Hopefully the pictures will suffice :). Now, on to the past week…. Women Fighting AIDS in Kenya (WOFAK):. Mathare Youth Sports Association (MYSA):. Before the clean-up, we watched a performance of the drummers and dance...

Karibu! Welcome!: April 2007

http://www.mollieinkenya.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

April 10, 2007. Happy Easter and Passover to everyone! I apologize that this will be a long entry. On day two, we went to the Ngorongoro Crater, the eighth wonder of the world. It was beautiful and we saw tons of animals. The crater was almost unreal-like because there was absolutely no depth perception once you were inside. At the entrance there were baboons on the roof. We got out of our land rovers to take pictures of them, but they slid do. Pineapple and passion fruit fanta = Delicious. April 1, 2007.

Mi Primavera en España 2007. Blog of my semester abroad in Europe! Wednesday, April 25, 2007. So this one time when I went to Prague. I've been meaning to write this entry for awhile, but I had a lot of schoolwork to catch up on this week. So I did it! I found a flight, got directions from Dan to meet up with him, packed, and left. Friday April 20-Sunday April 22 were perhaps two of the most amazing days in my entire life. The next morning I met up with Eileen and her roomate from Galway, Katie, for brea...

http://nicoleinmadrid.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Mi Primavera en España 2007. Blog of my semester abroad in Europe! Thursday, March 22, 2007. Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile. There hasn't really been too much going on here in España, but I'll provide an update anyways! Extremadura wasn't too bad- it was a very roman-esque trip: we saw a lot of ancient ruins and walked around the different towns, learning about their history and culture. The weather was wonderful though! We all got some sun, and spent a lot time just sitting outside enjoying the days.

Been spending the past few days hanging out with the girls and trying not to think about having to say goodbye to everyone. We've really been enjoying ourselves though- nights out, dinners, brunches, and we've also been spending a lot of time at the pool- really the only way to enjoy the heat in Madrid. Plus being students we get a discount, so it's a great way to save money! Hard to bel...

Just another WordPress.com site. The reasons why PBS made my childhood AWESOME. April 18, 2012. This is purely for my own enjoyment and has nothing to do with by European travels. Allow me to indulge. Seeing this dog dressed to the nines in elaborate 17th century costumes is and will always be funny. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Annoying show but such a catchy theme. I was a little too old when this show came out to really enjoy it. Graham was a big fan though, big fan. I CANNNNN BE ANYTHINGGGGGG.

Greece is the Word

Greece is the Word. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. A Weekend in Istanbul. Last Thursday I left for a weekend trip to Istanbul.or should I say Constantinople, since that is what the Greeks still call it: Poli ("City"), for short. Can you say bitter? Finally, we went home and woke up early the next morning to go to the Grand Bazaar, which was absolutely overwhelming. One man told us there were 4,500 shops in there! Tomorrow I leave for a trip to Olympia and Delphi, so I will be sure to update when I get back!

Everything Will Be Illuminated

Everything Will Be Illuminated. Wednesday, August 01, 2007. This year has been at the same time the most amazing and difficult experience of my life. In my senior year of college I decided that I wanted to spend a year in a Russian speaking country doing some kind of community health work. This year I was able to do exactly that. I feel blessed and honoured to have had this opportunity. The professional experience I gained was immense. No less, and be a part of an incredible international organization.
