Tales from the GodseySix...: A family closet for six, please.
http://godseysix.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-family-closet-for-six-please.html
Tales from the GodseySix. Sunday, January 6, 2013. A family closet for six, please. That title cracks me up. I've realized that I have such a "mommy" mentality when the idea of building a new closet in our home excites me more than the possibility of getting to go out for a date night. Ahhh, good times! Your kids are soo funny and I am sure they keep you on your toes. Hayden sure has grown close to yall. And I am glad you got your closet. January 7, 2013 at 12:28 AM. Tales from the GodseySix...: January 2013
http://godseysix.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tales from the GodseySix. Tuesday, January 8, 2013. New Friends, Fun Questions and No Pictures. Today was a beautiful day. It was almost 60 degrees outside, so we spent some much-needed time outside running off pent up energy. Per the state of TN, the kids only have to have 1 hour of P.E. a week. I am pretty sure we got a full month's worth of credit in this afternoon! It was just that nice outside. I am well aware that I am still a home school rookie, but I finally understood the eagerness that all the ...

Student: Revisited: July 2007
http://studentrevisited.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Memphis to Milledgeville (the graduate school years). Tuesday, July 31, 2007. So I got my algebra exam back today and I could barely croak out my score when asked by the ladies that sit around me. (I'm gonna miss them! So I had to write it down. " 1". My professor writes down the points out of 100 missed.so my first exam was a -5 aka 95%). So the moral of that story is.if it isn't broke, don't fix it. I might have to do my next exam in ink as well. Or maybe not. Who's Line is it Anyway? Plastic set of sa...

Memphis to Milledgeville (the graduate school years). Saturday, June 16, 2012. Welcome (light and bright air entered). After teaching James Joyce's "Araby" this past semester, my respect for his work was rekindled. I reread a lot of his collection ( Dubliners. I happened upon the LiberateUlysses. I'll read and study all I can...

Tales from the GodseySix...: The proof is in the pictures
http://godseysix.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-proof-is-in-pictures.html
Tales from the GodseySix. Monday, January 7, 2013. The proof is in the pictures. These pictures were taken a few weeks ago when my daughters had "Mommy and Me" day at ballet. Yes, I said mommy. This year, my oh-so-charming husband agreed to take on "Mommy and Me" day with our oldest daughter so I would only have to do one hour of ballet. I must say, he held nothing back. Ha! Here he is warming up by doing leg raises. Please take note that he is smoking the mommies. LOL! I was laughing so hard! 3 down, 1 ...

Tales from the GodseySix...: March 2011
http://godseysix.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tales from the GodseySix. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Why we are choosing homeschool: A reminder for myself. We feel that God is calling us to be a homeschool family. The circumstances which led up to this decision, which you can read about here. Left us in a survival mode. After Dylan was suspended from school, we knew we did not want him to be in a reform school (because, well, he doesn't. Way, like with Jonah and the great fish). And that's exactly what He did in our situation. And then it happened.
