Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Monday, May 17, 2010. 6 years ago today. I can't believe it has already been 6 years since Jeff and I were engaged! With so many life changing events happening in those years, it seems like yesterday we were sitting on the steps leading to the beach and a sparkling ring appeared! I will never forget my thoughts.and I am sure Jeff will never forget my reaction! Thank you for being my Prince Charming! I am so happy with you and love you so much! 6 years ago today.

Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Christmas Eve at Grammy's and Grandpa's. Since Jeff and I started sharing our holidays, we have always gone to his parents' home for Christmas Eve. We attend vigil mass and then head back to Grammy and Grandpa's for a light dinner and lots of gifts to open. We have so much fun visiting with Jeff's great-aunt, Nanan, her daughter, Kay, Jeff's grandfather, Gramps and Jeff's parents, Grammy and Grandpa! Santa and his little elf.

Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Monday, November 30, 2009. Over the hills and through the woods. We left Friday morning and stopped to cut our Christmas tree on the way back. It was raining and Caroline was not happy, so we did not get any pictures of the tree cutting, but I can say, we were in and out of the tree farm in record time and we got a great tree! An attempt at a pre-feast picture. Trying for "nice" family pictures. What is she looking at? C'monjust a few more! James Carville, too.

She makes me laugh several times a day and there are so many things she will quit doing as she gets bigger. I don't want to forget. She calls blueberries and blackberries - blue babies and black babies. Caroline's movie of the week is "Pokeno" or Pinocchio for the rest of us. All onions are "boo-hoo-hoo's". Every time I take one out, Caroline says, "Cut that boo-hoo-hoo, mama!

After a lot of frustration and a little help from Caroline when we got home, the swingset was ready for play. Thanks, Daddy! We are having fun now! I'll be nice and swing lucie. Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Trick or Treat.maybe. This is the first year Caroline understood what trick or treating is all about. We went to Boo at the Zoo the weekend before Halloween and Caroline was very excited about trick or treating. However, on Halloween she was less than happy about the holiday. Daddy and Caroline started the day by carving a pumpkin. Two and a half hours later, we had an awesome Charlie Brown jack-o-lantern! Boo at the Zoo. I got a rock!
