The Perfect Blog Title. Monday, June 17. Hootie has a way with words. This song has got me tearing a few times lately. Tim had a good run. He finished close to his personal best 23:30 and placed 3rd in the division. Unfortunately, in registering all 4 of us, I somehow marked Tim as a female. So he finished 3rd in the women's 30-34 division. I'm pretty sure you medal for that. Hopefully, they figured it out and gave the 4th place girl the medal instead of holding it for a female Tim. Third Times a Charm. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. I had a co-worker tell me today that "I hope none of your kids ever have anything medically wrong with them", like her almost adults sons injury. And to that I nodded my head and replied "ya, I hope not". The only thing going thru my head was how weird and dramatic she was being over an injury that is fixable with surgery.
