Adrian was on leave to help out at home, and things were pretty smooth sailing as we all adjusted to having a newborn at home. David was feeding well, gaining weight and filling out. And to that I nodded my head and replied "ya, I hope not". The only thing going thru my head was how weird and dramatic she was being over an injury that is fixable with surgery.
