January 6, 2009. The boys had a GREAT Christmas. Dawson got an AWESOME train set that has lights and makes noise. Santa brought him everything on his list.my do we spoil our kids or what? Carson could of card less about presents.he wanted the food in his stocking. He ate a rice crispy treat while brother opened his presents and then Dawson helped him open his presents. March 3, 2009. Where do I begin? Carson is getting BIG. Into everything! Josh is good. He had to be put on blood pressure medicine. Say a little prayer for him that this helps and maybe one day he won't have to take it. He's working a lot, but the busy season hasn't started yet. . Just thought I would give an update. December 22, 2008. Santa Clause is coming to town. For Christmas this year I have made a few of my gifts.this is for Kaylee aka Dawson's girlfriend. My friend Kerry's daughter. So Kerry I hope to get this to you tomorrow if the weather doesn't get too bad. He told Santa he wanted a Batman movie, a Superman Cape and a Superman shirt. He's getting so BIG! When the doctors told me that Kaylee would have to wear a brace for 3 months I thought everything was falling apart and my daughter would never recover. It was a very hard time for our little family, but here we are and everything is just the way it should be. Kaylee is going strong and showing me everyday that the brace was easy compared to what is to come. Pre. The first time I saw my little 5 lb miracle.

We've been eating a lot of quinoa lately. For a seed, its pretty delicious. We tried this recipe tonight and I think its a keeper. Gluten Free Cheesy Chicken and Quinoa. 1 cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed and drained. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 ½ cups cheese of your choice (I used triple cheddar.). 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock.
