mommy in limine | a motherhood and lawyering blog
A motherhood and lawyering blog. So, how’s it going? I’ve been back at work for two weeks (aside: sorry I haven’t written sooner but it’s been non-stop but more on that in a sec), and I get asked that question a lot. Mommy in London | Trying to figure things out!
Trying to figure things out! Our Breastfeeding Journey – Celebrating ‘Golden Boobies’ ;). It has been a long journey, but I can now officially say that I’ve been breastfeeding E for over a year! It has actually been over 14 months, this post has taken me a while to write! And as crazy as it may sound, the old wives tale about putting cabbage leaves in your bra when your milk comes in really did work for me! I loved those cabbage leaves! And it really helped me. I moved then from demand feeding to a r...

New Mommy in Manila
New Mommy in Manila. Monday, August 20, 2012. Sophia's Weekend with Cousin Mina. One of the things I love to do is cook! So this weekend, I decided to get my niece Mina in the kitchen while Sophia plays with her tea set. Mina is preparing the potato, garlic, onion and cheese mixture before we shape them into balls. I think somebody is getting excited for her croquettes! Sophia is excited too and while waiting for the food, she entertained us by simging "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Stars" :-).

A Canadian mom and her Mexican family… it's three against one. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. April 9, 2017. Last Friday my daughter went to a friend’s house to sleep over. It was a day off from school and, because she spends only six and a half hours a day with her friend during a normal week (seven and a half since they are in swimming lessons together twice a week), it seems that they had much to discuss. My boy went into the river with his buddy, but I wasn’t concerned. He’s ...

Mommy in Miami | My thoughts on Motherhood, marriage and everything in between.
My thoughts on Motherhood, marriage and everything in between. October 2, 2012. October is my favorite month of the year. It always seems to be a busy, fun month and the fact that it also happens to be my birthday month and Halloween is a bonus. Obviously, since I live in Miami, I can’t enjoy the leaves changing because unfortunately, they stay green all year round. I miss that the most. Dark colors on my nails. The munchkin playing dress up… arrgh! Trick or treating with my munchkin and my nephew. This ...

A pastor's wife, mommy of four little ones and a seminary student; pursuing ordination in the United Methodist Church. December 24, 2016. Looking ahead–trying to stay positive. November 8, 2016. We walk a lot. My curvy physique would not support this statement, but we love walking. I especially love to walk through crunchy colorful leaves.
