Friday, July 16, 2010. I couldn't believe it! God gave me such a peace, that I didn't even realize that I wasn't taking them! My fam with Tim and Ariana. Tim is sort of a "missionary intern". He spends a ton of time living in Nicaragua doing whatever is needed of him. He was such a help to us while we were there and an awesome guy. Ariana was one of our translators. She is from Nicaragua but goes to school in the U.S. She was the sweetest girl! We sort of fell in love with her while we were there.

But remember i had 9 grandkids to push my brain even further.but it is the coolest thing to see yall with your kids .and to remember how you were as kids.isnt life good and isnt God good? Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I know it seems kind of odd that we took a vacation so soon after Bry lost his job, but it was already planned and paid for and we couldn't get a refund. So, we decided to take that time as a family and try to relax and regroup. We really tried hard not to worry about anything for a few days and just enjoy each other and the beautiful Florida sun. I am so glad that we went. It was truly therapeutic. Mom, Bay and Luke. Bay enjoying the soft, white Destin sand. She LOVES the sand!

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Luckily we had some translators with us, so we were able to communicate a little. Those kids were so awesome. They had no idea how little they had! They just wanted to play and to be loved and to be happy. Anyway, after the movie we were able to give the kids things to read to learn more about Jesus. It was a long day, but so rewarding! It is so true.that last statement you made! With all of the distractions we have in life it is very hard to hear Him speak!

Thursday, January 14, 2010. At 6:30 this morning I was groggily. Eating my cereal when Luke comes running in the room. He screams "MOMMY! I'M FIVE YEARS OLD TODAY! It was so.Luke! He is so incredibly smart that it scares me sometimes. He gives the best hugs in the whole world. He is extremely outgoing and funny. He's also very intense and passionate and is not afraid to let you know when he's angry. He is so generous, loving and CHARMING. He's definitely. I am just so proud of him. My baby is not a baby!
